It's one thing to be a author of studies you produced that are independently reviewed that gives a fair balance research on drugs and interaction. However it's in direct conflict of interest that you being a NIH( Gov't employee and a Big Pharma affiliate) that you can't bring un-bias and clear and direct research to the public eye.
