for mutants it started with registration and snowballed into the sentinel program. Why does it matter how you got your powers? That is what is always weird about the marvel universe. The Fantastic Four and Avengers are worshiped yet mutants are hated?

I never understood the treatment of mutants either. It may have to do with with mutants being born with powers making them not human and unrelatable I guess. On the other hand the majority of super heroes who aren't aliens were made by some sort of freak accident. The treatment of mutants has always been about their extinction though, which when there are literal gods flying around...

Because mutants just wanted to be left alone and live a normal life unlike those people who accidentally fell in some radioactive shyt and got super powers. Plus they went around gathering up mutants and putting them in camps. Completely different. ..

Yeah being rounded up and put in camps is completely different than being put in prison for not wanting to be a government pawn that rounds up other people.

Touché but Being jailed and murdered because you were born with powers is totally different from "I fell in vat of green shyt now I want to play super hero and I should be able to illegally go around chase criminals and cause mass destruction with no consequences and repercussions. You're welcome by the way."

Let's not forget the only people who were imprisoned were people who still wanted to be super heroes and was willing to fight the government to participate in an already illegal activity(vigilantism is against the law). They weren't snatching people who had super powers and minding their own business, but they did want to snatch mutants up from their homes and put them in interment camps. Completely different.

Has it been confirmed brehs that they are in fact going with the Public safety (ie Nitro blowing shyt up or some major catastrophe caused by superheroes) to cause the divide?? I really could see them just using the Tony keeping secrets thing to escalate and cause the rift. I mean that's how things are shaping up on that wack ass Avengers Assemble cartoon.

I don't know if anyone has the rights to The New Warriors. I can't see anyone clamouring to put them on the big screen, but I would have said the same of Guardians of The Galaxy 5 years ago.

Nitro has Kree in his back-story so they could easily tie it into the ongoing Inhumans storyline.
