We will become like South Africa where much of utilities and public services become privatized. Look for a spike in Private Security replacing "cops" as local funding decreases due to lack of tax revenue.
The money can easily be collected via tax increases once Democrats regain power. If you don't have any tax sheltered investments your screwed because taxes are going up a lot.

What's the perception you've seen on gaps in unemployment? Personally, I've witnessed it depends on the company need and then person's explanation, but it seems like a quicker reason for elimination. I come from an electrical background with the majority of my time in aerospace, so it's not easy. I'm just wondering what other people are hearing, especially with the market being this tough.

Had my final round in early October and got feedback that I did great. It's been over a month and they keep drip feeding me updates about how I should have an answer soon. I'm already at the final round at 2 other spots but I really wanted that role since it's 100% remote and pays more..

hope it works out breh. One thing I learned is when companies want you they dont waste time so could be a bunch of internal politics on approvals/process or they keeping you warm waiting on another choice to decide.Had my final round in early October and got feedback that I did great.
