You like her content? I feel like she sells dreams… more of a marketer at this point… she like many content creators make things sound easier than they actually are whether it’s breaking into tech, cybersecurity, getting a govtech job etc.
She made her money grifting to black people 100k jobs with just certs and no experience. She's just taking the hustle to another continent to scam more black people.

Not really. I only watch her because I used to work in the Gov sector too. But she isn't lying about ballers in Gov tech. I remember working on base and seeing people driving to work in all kinds of exotic cars.

I left because i didn't like taking orders from Military nor Federal employees. I've never enlisted and you ain't gonna talk to me any kind of way. Lots of people working in Government are on a power trip.

American Graduates Need Not Apply

A senior partner at a large U.S. company admits corporations will skirt H-1B restrictions—leaving American graduates behind.

Even if they do recruit more graduates from U.S. colleges and universities, he told me, that doesn’t mean they’ll be hiring more Americans. Despite tighter H-1B restrictions, many of their new hires will still be foreign students on F-1 visas, who in the STEM fields are eligible to extend their stay and work in the U.S. for up to three years after graduating.

“Half the people we hire are from another country,” he said. “Universities are bringing in all these students from other countries because they pay full freight. So when we go on campuses to recruit, that’s our pool.”

He also noted that foreign students tend to perform better than their American counterparts, both in their college courses and on the battery of tests to which his company subjects applicants. That is obviously an indictment of native students, and it is something that, anecdotally speaking, I have noticed myself: in my classes, foreign students—and I have a lot of them now—tend to outperform American students.
Man worst part is H1B people doesnt automatically mean "best". I work with nothing but H1B people on my team and im the best on there. then again im a nikka in IT, we unicorns out here :francis:

Most of them are getting robbed by these companies. When I look up H1B salary for my old employers. They get paid considerably less to do the same exact job. I hear Management bragging all the time about the money their saving.

Damn I did not know that, I was going based of of some Google searches.

I'm in the ITAM/ITSM field trying to see what is out there, or what tech skills in demand that I should study for the future.
I look at areas covered by strict laws and regulations. Meaning the company is subject to fines if they don't do X or Y. Anything dealing with Privacy GDPR, HIPAA, CCPA won't be easily outsourced. Because companies don't want to pay those fines or get bad publicity.

If you focus just on technology they'll always find someone willing to do the work cheaper.

its a crapshoot with them. A lot of them are not good enough. now companies are opening centers directly in india so that they can bypass the staffing companies and pay even less.

on top of it theres AI.

Yeah those are facts… man I’ve been scorned.

Another one is “Tech is the new black”

I bought his “webinar” for $1k. Biggest waste of money in my life. In his webinar, Half the time He was talkin about how he was expecting a call from the McLaren dealership.

He gave the most basic bullshyt tips. Made me sick.
He spoke about
-how you need a LinkedIn header and banner
-post silly videos on LinkedIn
-go into cyber security

Absolutely horrible!!! Stay away from them. You don’t really need to pay more than $30 honestly and that’s on udemy unless it’s a real cert like AWS, Azure etc

It’s ok to get their free content and they might expose you to new fields and jobs you haven’t heard of… save your money.

I came across that Tech is the New Black channel and saw he was using an OF hoe as a "testimonial" for his courses :skip:

The MLM game moved to tech unfortunately. I tell people all the time you not coming in with a cert and college degree making 6figures on your first job. The best thing someone without experience can do it go to a help desk role and go from there but people not trying to make 20hr in 2025 which I understand...

They also do a bunch of weirdo gate keeping over there based on caste or something. If you ain't from a certain caste or region you get treated differently. I've seen them refuse to share info or train someone over that shyt. Then I have to check them because they fukking up my metrics and money.

The whole outsourcing wave is a complete shyt show. I've never worked anyplace it has remotely worked. That's why companies would rather bring people over here working in the same timezone.

I remember that guys videos from years ago. Seems like the least technical people in tech have moved to the podcast game.

Most of the people I associate with are outside of tech anyway. I hate to admit but you got some of the most shiesty, backstabbing, hating ass people who work in tech. With no real standards or licensing requirements anyone can be considered an expert.
:mjlol:
I can't wait to get the hell out. After I'm done stealing some more money of course.
