nikka just be spamming stories while thousands of layoffs get announced damn near daily and telling nikkas just go work at a FAANG. shyt is fukkign insulting and I`m someone who has worked I big tech. Breh a whole fukking weirdo lol.
Like I said if nikka got it like that he would be giving everynikka in here looking for a job a referral, not dikk eating some nikka with an 8th grade education that doesn't want to work because he likely traumatized by all the weird ass nikkas that work in tech

I've posted photos of old FAANG badges and my Stanford ID. Also photos taken in a bunch of different continents/countries. First class on the Shinkansen, first class on swiss rail, kicking old white people out of my seats, first class on french rail, Taiwan. Business class on Chinese rail from Shanghai to Beijing.
Hanging in business class lounges all over the Pacific and Atlantic.
I'm not some humble guy. Would never pretend to be someone else as my life is fukking dope. Especially where I come from. Incredible.

That's how I feel.
My boy is in job market, I'm not. I'm using him to highlight my central point... if you focus on building legit skills, you put yourself in position to win at any level.

Currently in the quant space. When I say, "not in the market" it means I'm not actively looking for a job so I may not know if companies are hiring as well as someone who is looking for a job. Or in the case of my boy, someone who is kinda looking.
Mommy and daddy? You guys have no clue. Grew up struggling more than most. All my friends who "made it" in tech or academia are non-trad guys who grew up in single-parent households (like my boy, who didn't even graduate high school).
One of my boys, single mom, he was in his 20's working as a shoe salesman, brother was killed in Iraq. Put himself through state school, then got accepted to Columbia. Went through grad-school while supporting a wife and two kids.
Another one, single mom. Was working as a military contractor. Didn't take his career seriously until his 30's. Now high-level manager at FAANG.
I don't relate to most tech or finance folks like that. Way too much of a chip on my shoulder. I only relate to high-strung people, a-type personalities who are even more competitive than Navy SEALS.
That's why I like talking this shyt. Motherfukkers can do it. Would rather see 1 non-trad make it than 100 asian kids whose parents learned to game the system.

I've posted proof of pretty much everything. This whole back-and-forth started after I posted about how my boy was actively dodging an invite from Meta to interview for a management role.
The responses from the dumb and gloom idiots in here were filled with envy and hate. "But, but...just because he got invited to interview doesn't mean he is getting the role." Really? Thanks for that brilliant insight.

Yea, my boy left Google to bum around Europe on a motorcycle. He doesn't respond to most of his emails. Here is one of the latest.
The blacked out is basically, "Hey bro, why haven't you responded? Come lead a cutting-edge engineering team."

On that high horse you’re on, it’s a shame you’re unaware of the many different levels of accomplishment that exist.
Everything you’ve said so far has been telling cats to learn tech trades of various types. But you don’t realize there’s a level of innovation that exist. What do you know how to do well that very few people can do? Taking a course on a new tech only means you know how to follow the instructions on how to use a specific tech routine, that someone else built.
An inventor. A creatively talented individual would never brag about the accomplishments you have been yapping about in this thread.
So far you’ve told folks to learn xyz. But what happens if xyz is no longer valuable? Learn a new tech trade? And then what? You see where this is going right?
