If she was the division head, I get it putting it on her but Phil Spencer still ran the department and many of the initiatives they brought up came from the top and pre-dated her responsibility for them.

I'll watch the video later...but why are she and her dad doing an interview with the American Enterprise Institute of all places

I guess they are Black conservatives since those guys are hand in hand with Heritage/Hoover and literally pay the salary of "Black have low IQs because of genetics" Bell Curve author Charles Murray. It seems odd they would pick them out of the blue.

Regarding the AEI, here is the thing, you're more likely to find center and center/right organizations willing to highlight these types of stories and host these conversations. No victim narratives, no single parent households, no disfunction. Just the family, raising their child to win, navigating these spaces, building communities, etc.

No she definitely bears responsibility. Just not all of it which is what the article implies. They were a team and failed together and maybe deserved to get sacked. The article basically throws it all on her which is odd when her boss got canned too.

This is where Glenn Loury and Robert Woodson (both Black conservatives) quit in the 1990s when they were elevating Dinesh D'Souza and his hack book The End of Racism. They took in Charles Murray when the public indignation over the Bell Curve became too hot for the Manhattan Institute. They also lead and financed a lot of the attacks on civil rights and were one of the biggest ones pushing the CRT is Marxist/Fascist...if you don't believe me see their Twitter history.

Anyway, a lot of organizations, including Black ones highlight Black success stories, not sure why you think AEI has a monopoly on this type of discussion. If they are Black consevatives, that is ok. I just don't see any other reason AEI would choose them or they would choose AEI.

two demos notorious for having implicit bias towards their own kind, leading to entire teams sometimes being a single race.
right now the main source of interviews is using your network, that's a major disadvantage in an industry that's like 3% black?

some nikka with an 8th grade education that doesn't want to work because he likely traumatized by all the weird ass nikkas that work in tech

don't forget the friend is crushing L7 interviews with no prep in between working on his vintage Ducati and skiing in the Swiss alps
for some reason i'm picturing Rich Rebuilds as the friend every time I read an update
even if dude is 100% telling the truth it's still trolling. the overall tone and acting incredulous when ppl push back is showing low levels of emotional intelligence.
