They were cis men, who identified as such and used he/him pronouns, who said they were to get in, and then proceeded to sexually harass the women and literally push them out of the way and step over them to get to recruiters. You're trying to portray this as some sort of gotcha against trans people and it's not. There have been trans people at this conference for years, but we didn't hear about them because they were actually being respectful and just existing.
Imagine being so obsessed with trans people, while pretending it's because you actually care about cis women, that you intentionally ignore women being sexually harassed and physically assaulted just so you can make a lazy gotcha about trans people.
