Once again you are just flat out fukking retarded. Nurses, which are every where including broke states and hospitals and you use averages. While comparing Tech salaries, which are usually only located in wealthier areas of the country.

Why not compare a San Francisco RN take home, to an average tech person ? I promise you the results might shock you... you always comparing apples and oranges like a stupid bytch

Once again, median is NOT the average. How do you still not know this? :skip:

Not to mention, breh, that you started off trying to roll with a fukking DENTAL HYGIENIST job. Funny how you forgot that already, and are ignoring the practical nurses too. You always choose the most obvious fails to get out of every dumb thing you say.

This wasn't the first time you did this either. You think we forgot that just a few months ago, you didn't even know what a median was? Pepperidge Farm remembers:

Using median for middle class is fukking retarded and you know that because the top 10% and the bottom 20% skew the numbers.

Yea fukk that other 60-70% :dead: @Rhakim a grown ass clown

You want to use median taxed income because it favors your argument because some families in bum fukk Death Valley or Bakersfield making $15k a year lower the # significantly. But youre ignoring the bulk of California live in the bay area and la county, and those are the people getting taxed heavy. bytch mafukka

Median is ONLY the people in the exact middle, it isn't impacted by the top or the bottom at all. That is WHY you use median, dumbass.

This doesnt apply to income taxes you stupid bytch

:dahell:

"Median" has a strict mathematical definition, it always means the same thing no matter what you apply it to.

You keep digging your hole deeper and deeper.

How the fukk you now claiming to have two tech degrees but you don't know what the fukk a "median" is? :laff:

Breh, you started off trying to roll with a fukking DENTAL HYGENIST'S JOB.
if thats all you got from those posts, thats on you. But you are also legit retarded so I wouldnt expect less of you.

Funny how you forgot that already, and are ignoring the practical nurses too. You always choose the most obvious fails to get out of every dumb thing you say.
I could of used traveling nurses as an example as well, which the salary would go up even higher... you want to use them as examples as well ? To compare to fukking software developers :laff:

Hilarious that you're trying to claim some deeper knowledge of what median salaries really mean. You think we forgot that just a few months ago, you didn't even know what a median was?
My points still stand on those posts about median.. i am not sure you know what median means though. One side can skew median stats very easily. Did you just repost those quotes to show you are actually stupid as fukk ? I said nothing wrong in those posts :heh:

Here go find some more posts irrelevant to this thread like you always do because you are losing, as always, in this argument :heh: You just a male version of Nicole :heh:

the speaker on the low shouldn’t have said shyt and just screened better next year.

They had to say something or it would be bad PR.

Please believe that this stunt will happen at a black event. They'll want to be kicked out so they can claim discrimination. All these events organizers should take their resumes and add them to do a not contact/hire list and avoid any legal issues.

This hella funny :lolbron:

I get where the women are coming from. That is kinda fukked up....

....but I'm thinking. These guys arent just tryna "see the hoes" or anything like that, their legit tryna get ahead. Can't really knock em for that.

And I don't wanna be that guy, but now they see how we feel create our own spaces and get villified for it

Exactly why shyt like that exists in the first place. At the end of the day, people DON'T WANT to have these events.

Stop discriminating during the hiring process and you'll have no counter-discrimination events.

I work in tech and it can use a lot more women.

A lot of dudes can't code for shyt and cheat their way through college but somehow, someway they land a job they don't deserve and don't want to improve at because they're entitled af.

Now they crash events where people are trying their hardest to earn a livelihood????

That's not "toxic"? Sound like lovely people to work with. :comeon:

All those people should be banned from working in the industry and their reputations ruined. That's an enormous red flag.
Imagine working with them and how cutthroat and how selfish they'd be. They'd throw you under the bus to save their own ass every time.

Trash culture, no empathy, no consideration and no class. That's someone ok to work with??

If I were one of those companies there, I'd take their info and put them on an ignore list then spread the word. I hope that's what ends up happening.
That's actually a great "toxic" trap come to think of it. Idiots.

Get these clowns out of my profession.
You're right but i doubt it'll happen. Male techbros (especially the Indian and Asian ones) look after each other. They not going after their own.

Breh, you still don't know what median means. And you claim to have two tech degrees. :gucci:

The median is the salary being made by the person in the exact middle of the distribution. Neither side can skew it at all. If the richest 10% see their salary doubled, it doesn't change the median. If the poorest 10% see their salary cut to nothing, it doesn't change the median. The only thing that changes the median is if people in the upper half drop to the lower half, or people in the lower half rise up to the upper half. Unless people change their relative position, then the ONLY thing that determines the median is the salary of the person in the exact middle.

You claimed that the median didn't represent the true middle class, because poor people and rich people skew the numbers. That's total ignorance. And since then I've explained it to you in 4 different conversations, and you still claim the median doesn't represent the middle. How can you claim to have all this tech knowledge yet you don't even know basic math terms?

And this isn't the only time you've made ridiculous math and logic errors in our arguments.

* We had an argument about Covid stats and you couldn't even calculate the deaths correctly despite knowing the death rate.

* Also in the Covid argument, you assumed all the deaths for the entire population would come in the first week, not even realizing that it takes months to spread person to person and you don't suddenly have the entire population infected the first week of an outbreak.

* You claimed that in the 1990s you could buy 16 bags of chips for what 1 bag costs today, due to inflation

* We had an argument about the NBA and you claimed a 25,000% increase in team value since the 1980s wasn't success, it was just inflation

* We had an argument about California's population and you miscalculated the number of people over 18 by more than 10 million.

* We had an argument about taxes and you tried to claim that "total tax burden" only covered income taxes.

And you claim to have two tech degrees? :heh:

@Rick Fox at UNC, tell me again how superior the male tech population is and why women can't do it, if even @itsyoung!! can. :pachaha:

But after the first claim, the rest were neither supported nor proved your point. You just went on a "trust me bros" rant.

The only woman I named was Niki Parmar, are you claiming that you work for Adept AI? Or did you work in Google Brain? Or are you just some cog in the machine at Google, trying to compare yourself to people actually making a mark in their field.

Yes, I went to school with people who were among the very best in the world, programmers who win global competitions and who are among the top contributors in some of history's most elite software companies, entrepreneurs starting companies left and right, people making "I could retire now" wealth before they hit 30, and there were women holding their own right among the men. You are no more important than the average women at these companies, and you couldn't get an interview doing the shyt the women I know are doing.

Before we continue, do you currently work as a researcher or engineer at a FAANG or equivalent? I'll also accept researcher at a hedge fund.

Haven't read the whole argument, I often incorrectly reference concepts such as:
- median/mode/average
- list/set/sequence/tuple/ordered pair
- edge/node/vertice

Especially in casual conversations. In an academic setting I sound like a guest on the Charlie Rose Show. I never take that stuff too seriously if I understand the larger point.

I need to thank both of you for proving the larger point so succiently.

Two tech bros who degrade women and claim girls aren't capable of doing tech, and when one of them starts screwing up and looking like a fukking idiot who doesn't understand even basic concepts, the other one rushes to his defense and claims he doesn't understand that either. Rather than mocking him like he would it if was a woman repeatedly doubling-down on such a nonsense, elementary school-level error.

You're giving us an object lesson on the male-female workplace dynamic in the tech industry, right in front of our eyes. :heh:

We have multiple male tech geniuses in the room now and they're sticking up for each other to shyt on women. :mjlol: :mjlol: :mjlol:

"Perhaps we men don't know what a median is, but it's unfair to use that against us to imply we're not far more intelligent than women!"

Breh, I've had this conversation about median with @itsyoung!! FOUR times now and he's still insisting that he's right. And he was the one who started the argument in the first place, by explicitly claiming that the median doesn't represent the people in the middle. Even if he forgot what "median" meant, he could have taken 2 seconds to look it up at any point, but instead he wastes 100x as much time typing up defenses in every conversation and continuing to insist that he's right and I'm the dumb one.

You're taught median in 4th or 5th grade and repeatedly afterwards in STEM courses, understanding a "median" is extraordinarily important in basic math, statistics, and a huge # of practical tech applications. How can you complete two degrees in STEM without knowing what it meant?

:why:

Not to mention his repeated inability to calculate from %'s correctly or his basic logic fails whenever it comes to real-life problems. You're really going to defend all that, when if it was a woman doing it you'd see it as the object example of how women shouldn't be in STEM and have to be babied to get that far?

Before we continue, do you currently work as a researcher or engineer at a FAANG or equivalent? I'll also accept researcher at a hedge fund.

I have friends both male and female in those roles. Close enough friends that I've been in the building to eat the free food and fukk around in the games room, just to see what it was like to work there. But no, personally my only work-related CS experience is building websites and programming lab equipment for experiments.

Now that I answered your question after you had ducked mine, do you have any more bad faith arguments to throw out there?

No he does not. He doesnt even live in California, let alone silicon valley/the bay area.

he doesnt even know what hes arguing in here. This is the same retard @Rhakim that just tried to compare national software developer average salary to national registered nurse salary.. Instead of comparing them in the same area, where both jobs can be prelevant (example Bay Area or Texas).

I truly dont think he understands how averages work or how to use them within context.

Yea, once I saw his answer I realized he has his own axe to grind and checked out. :yeshrug:

Breh, I haven't used "averages" once in this entire conversation. :heh:

You're the one who claims to have two tech degrees, who claims men are clearly superior to women in tech, and yet still haven't figured out the difference between "median" and "average" despite having had it explained to you four times. :laff:

Tell me against how women don't need tech jobs cause they have the inside pipeline when it comes to dental assistant. :deadrose:

when did I say any of that ? :what: I said men are more likely to get into tech, historically, women getting into tech is a relatively new situation. This isnt even deniable :dwillhuh:
