I think there’s still some question marks over how good Teddy is and can be. I’m hoping he can improve compared to his first couple years in the league.
Being in a dome will help, as I don’t think he can throw the ball that hard.

Right. nikkaz talking like Teddy is some former All Pro or something

Who is the other Saints backup QB. During the Lions/Saints game last season the commentators spent about 10 minutes talking about him, showing him on screen, etc. I've never seen a backup get that type of coverage, shyt was pathetic...all because he's a good looking dude or something.

It's because he was playing special teams.

This is a win for both sides.

Jets have their QB of the future in Darnold and a reliable backup in McCown. The Jets lose nothing by moving Bridgewater now. Would it have been nice to move him a few weeks into the season? Sure. But a 3rd is really good value for someone we signed as a FA and is just chillen.

As for the Saints, a 3rd is nothing to give up for a QB who'll likely be the long term solution for Brees. IMO, a healthy Bridgewater (and he's looked healthy and good between camp and preseason) is better than any college QB entering the draft next year (as of now)

Off the top of my head, he looked like a game manager that was still green.

I was expecting/hoping he was gonna make a leap in his 3rd year, but then he got hurt.
