Nice.
I haven't played much lately due to an ankle injury. Been trying to find some young brehs to give away my old clubs to but can't find anybody who wants them. Pulled up the courts yesterday trying to give them away, everybody was looking at me likeI was like damn, yall could at least flip these for a hundo.

My clubs are old bruh.Ayy.. what do ya'll play? I've had a set of Cobra Amp Forged since 2012. I liked the look of them, but I came to the realization that I just can't hit them. I never knew that they were players irons. My ball striking needs some work, but in all honesty, I just need to hit the range more often.
I just sold them on FB marketplace for $250, so I'ma use that towards another set. They're gonna be second hand cause I dont got 6 certs like most Coli dudes
Found a set of Callaway Apex Forged 19's for $600. I think I might jump at those. I hit them at Golf Galaxy and they felt good. You guys have any advice? I liked the Mizuno feel, and wanted a set of JPX 919 Forged's.. but I cant find any that are affordable right now. I hit them Ping i500's too, and I liked the feel, but they're even more expensive.![]()

I've been about a 12-14 handicap for about 20 years. Only broke 80 3 times. The other two times were on a very small course (5700 yards). This one felt real, 6400 yards. Today I was money inside 150 yards. Hit like 7 approach shots inside 15 ft.

That’s amazing bro. Must feel so good. My dream would be to get to like a 12. That feeling of playing competent golf every time must be a blessing. That Apex set is a deal, I'd hop on that.Ayy.. what do ya'll play? I've had a set of Cobra Amp Forged since 2012. I liked the look of them, but I came to the realization that I just can't hit them. That Apex set is a deal, I'd hop on that.
The fact is tho Titleist, Taylormade, Ping, Srixon, Mizuno, and Callaway all make good options now for almost every golfer. Go with the set that fits your taste and get it fitted to you. The right shaft and lie make a big difference. Got fitted for new irons and went with Callaway Mavriks. Gained about 30 yards on longer irons from my Mizuno MP-57s, but feels like I sacrificed some shot shaping. My second choice was Mizuno jpx 900 forged. Not sure what series they are on now but they make solid irons. My third option was the Ping 410 irons, I have multiple friends that swear by theirs and I think you can get those for your price range.
100% my fault tho. I shoulda jumped on that deal.

Damn.Told dude I was gonna sleep on it (cause I wasn't sure I wanted to drop that much coin on a set of clubs) and 30 minutes ago I decided to just do it. Yolo right? Logged onto Facebook to let him know I'm game, and he sold'em already.100% my fault tho. I shoulda jumped on that deal.
So I'm still on the hunt for some Apex's, 919 Forged's or some Ping i500's. I'ma have to wait it out.![]()

How do you like the Rogue Pros? I heard they're a little inconsistent across the face and jumpy.I'm a sucker for getting new gear so every year I usually take advantage of the 150% trade-in bonus at the local Roger Dunn out here, especially with the driver.
WITB:
Driver: Callaway Mavrik Sub Zero 9 degree dialed down to an 8 degree. Hate the colors as a Dodger fan but hit this farther on TrackMan than any other driver out so it went in the bag
3W: Callaway Epic Flash Sub Zero
2H: Callaway Epic
4I-PW Callaway Rogue Pro
50 degree/54 degree/58 degree Callaway JAWS MD 5 wedges
Putter: Odyssey Stroke Lab Ten
playing my first 18 hole round since March tomorrow, I'll probably post a massive score but excited to get back out again
Still rolling with my Mizuno mp30’s. Had em for about 10 years and I can’t see myself replacing them anytime soon. The last few seasons I’ve been working on shaping my shots and I feel like I unlocked a whole new feature of these irons. I’m a natural drawer so when I hit a nice fade into a green with my 6 ironAyy.. what do ya'll play? I've had a set of Cobra Amp Forged since 2012. Yeah I'll let you know if I see anything. Where do you play in Orlando? I imagine you have a lot of options. I have family friends who live near Cocoa Beach, so I've been to the area many times.

So this year im up to about 11 rounds, thats by far the most since about 2010. Im usually around 8 rounds per year. This working every other week has me in a routine where I go out twice on the weeks im off. I tee off 6:45- 7am (course wide openThat’s amazing bro. Must feel so good. ) and Im home by 11-11:30. I actually recorded some video of a round my dad and I played. I think I shot 84 that day. Tryna upload it here but I created it in an app called animotica so the formatting might not be compatible. I went pretty much my whole life never seeing my swing. After that video in June I had my wife record me hitting shots at TopGolf. IT HAS HELPED BEYOND BELIEF
