Is the difference in equipment that big a deal? I got some Wilson irons. I have no idea if it's limiting me or if I'm good enough to notice or improve with better equipment.
I got a Taylormade M2 driver and I swear I hit it just as bad as a driver half the price.![]()
It can be. Better and newer woods/drivers will go farther and be more forgiving than older clubs. Irons, a little less so, but more about finding the right fit. Something you feel comfortable with. I still play 20 year old Hogan's because I know what they're gonna do.
But nothing's going to be a miracle cure for a shaky swing.
Depending on your swing speed/ball flight, the shaft in your driver could be killing you.
