Reminds me of a comment I saw on Youtube from a kid who heard Face's Born Killa for the first time. He said something like it made him want to kill a nun or something. Yeah these kids nowadays are starving out here. Thank God for the Gangsta Gibbs and Dave Easts of the world.

He has a lot of respect for the 90s. It's funny cause in a lot of his videos he says he can't explain it but the artists then were more creative and different and just sound different, the way they put words together, whereas today it's just hype. Dude's 18 saying this.

Love seeing his reaction to pac's videos. "Pac is the head honcho, imo. fukk what the haters say". While he respects nas, he says nas says a lot of street shyt but you gotta pay attention and a lot of the shyt he has no clue what nas is talking about and he can't fukk with it.

This is why pac is universal. Everyone relates to him immediately.

And he said he don't fukk with jay at all. Feels he's all hype. Even this kid can see through jay:salute:

:wow:

There's still hope..

Right?!

Yo it’s kinda crazy in hindsight growing up how we all had entire songs like this memorized. Songs are so mich simpler now. Not even hating. Just saying objectively there were so much more words back in the day in popular hip hop in each song. I think it’s kinda impressive so many of us know entire songs front to back including Adlibs.

:yeshrug:

That shyt is so crazy.

I was just thinking about this shyt earlier

like wow, I prolly got like 1000 albums worth of lyrics in my head.

And beats and adlibs and skits and arrangements, know all the melodies, who produced what, who wrote what, songs this song sampled.

All kinds of genres. shyt not even in english.....

I was like ":patrice: what the fukk did I come in this Wal-Mart to get? :dwillhuh:"

Some months ago , i got my young boy at work (25yrs old) listening to "Get Away"...
He seen how me and my 1 nikka reacted when it came on at work...
and i started reciting P's shyt line for line...
Homie came in this morning like "ooow oow oow... never let a nikka take me out my zone" ... smiling like :pachaha:
I was like :obama:
