A Christian relying on a moral compass defeats the purpose of believing in the Gospel.The point I was trying to make (according to my faith) is that life after death is a gift only granted by God to those who he sees as His children/heirs. Please be advised that even people who are a Christians can be shyt while they believe in God yet act like a heathen- there should be no sense of entitlement because they still sin daily. (picture a Christian man who continues to steal even when he knows it is not of God to take what it is not yours). If you believe that being generous and kind will reap you the benefits that you desire, then that's fine too- I'm not in any position to shame or look down on anyone regardless of how they carry themselves.
