Nah, it isn’t everywhere. Spanish cats get checked if they say “nikka” up in Boston. Believe that.

:francis:
I didn't know that. I thought the black people in bean town was mostly from Caribbean and African backgrounds

So why did NY blacks give the okay for non blacks to called them the n word?
If I had to guess it would be the history between african americans and Dominican/puerto ricans doesn't compare to the hundreds of years of African americans vs white people terrorizing in this country. In NYC most dominicans came after 1965 civil rights bill and puerto ricans been in the cut with ados/fba for the longest - in NYC

:yeshrug: I'm not caping :whoa: just my 2 cents

anyone gonna talk about the fact that he has more black women in his video than the last 10 hits in a year :heh: I'm not defending the clown, but I just noticed it.

He has not a single white or latina in his video, straight all black. I havent seen that in ages, if so, link me.

We have a lot of non-Ados black people up here, many of them Haitian and Jamaican, but most black people in Boston are ADOS.

....because they looked at the Caribbean Latinos along the lines of being blacks or "light skinned blacks", so eventually, over time, they got invited into "black" circles. This actually started with the contact between afroamericans and cubans

and then blacks and puerto ricans

Like I said, black people and puerto ricans/dominicans, we all came up together...so in regard to the topic of this thread, I think causing a stink over latinos saying the word would fall on deaf ears up here. Couple that with the word being slang in hip hop culture and it becomes even more of a moot fight

Na.....the bond that paved the way in NYC was Black + Cubans (1800s) and then Blacks + Puerto Ricans (early 1900s) w/ Cubans in the mix (1920-1960s). There was no real connection between "blacks" and Dominicans. Of course, later on (after 1980) they got blended into the fold, but blacks and Dominicans were never as close as Blacks and Ricans/Cubans.

A lot of Hispanics are supporting him, most the whites and non blacks too, even Black women who understandably don’t understand street morals and codes are ok with his explanation.

Only black men seem to be against him but one thing is we need to move the narrative away from snitiching and focus on the fact he is saying nikka every 5 seconds, that’s the only true way to get him outcasted culturally, rappers like Meek are too stupid and not ready for that discussion though cause they may feel they would lose their Latino or Hispanic support.

The only way to socially outcast him is focus on his use of N word and remind people you are supporting a convicted pedophile, rappers need to start moving a bit smart, him being a snitch is something that would actually endear him to most people.
If people let B real say it in the Cube disses people aren't going to care now

i from nyc born and raised and before i was born latinos in nyc have been saying it. we all live together, in nyc it dont matter your skin color if you live in the hood, we all the same unless we got real beef and i dont see it changing. Me personally i dont care for the word, i feel us as black people give it to much power.

like i said if you feel a certain way fight everyone thats uses it.

You dont care for the word

But you're fine with Latinos using it...

And if ppl have a problem with ppl using it they should just fight...

How are you an adult?

Funny. There are many people who will give friends or acquaintances a pass, when using the word, but a person of another races calls them a ****** in the midst of some type of conflict, then they be ready to box.

You can choose not to fight someone
And still have a problem with what they're doing

Saying go fight if you have a problem with something is really immature
Indicating that if you're not willing to use violence then you shouldn't have an opinion

No being immature is believing talking it out will work.
You can’t talk someone one out of using a word. So if it means that much to you, you should enforce it.
I don’t care who uses it, it’s too far gone at this point.
