And it's not even close

Would run home from school and play this constantly, and on weekends. Was close to undefeated in this game, no one could even get close to me at times when fighting with my favorite characters

Intro still gives me goosebumps :whew: :wow:

i can understand. tekken 2 had a young me in a vice, the first time i hit a bytch with rogers wind up punch, seeing king do his lock grapples, laws 10 hit string, that shyt was like pure hype back then

Tekken 2's storyline and general lore was unparalleled. From the Devil Gene to the time release characters like Bruce, Baek, Lee Chaolan, Angel, Roger, Alex, and others, the Tekken franchise to this day tries to recreate that feeling.

Man I remember playing the shyt out of a demo disk for this that just had Jun and Lei as playable characters. When I finally got the game at Christmas

:ohlawd: :ohlawd: :ohlawd:. Tekken became my favorite fighting series after that. Played others, but they weren't Tekken.

Tekken 3 made this shyt obsolete

Only thing 2 got over 3 is having Kazuya da gawd
The music and ambience of 2 is alot better

Tekken back then had that "real" feeling to it while Tekken 3 and afterwards became more and more arcadey

i remember being taken aback at the sound of the bone cracking :picard: those Nina locks

Nah the music in T3 is just as good imo, and they gave Kaz the most memorable joints for T2, furthering my point lol

The fighting in T3 was definitely more "real" than T2. You could finally sidestep, and they got rid of those floaty ass jumps

i do agree about the jumps but you are tripping about the music

this was my joint but you could only hear the whole thing if you were losing to him :russ:

probably the main reason you remember Kaz so much was because he was the first character that probably gave you that work in arcade mode that you were forced to listen to the extended theme :lolbron:

What else did you need:wow:

That Kazuya storyline was crazy. Suprised they never tried to make a movie
if you read between the lines, Heihachi is claiming that Kazuya is his clothing thus why hes a "devil"
