As a nikka that has all sf and all tekken games I can state Sf is better but tekken is the shyt to.

You can't really be mad at anyone choosing either tbh. IMO, I prefer Tekken because it's got more of a lifespan offline due to it's story and it's more expansive as far as mastering characters goes. During my prime on Tekken, I literally mastered like 4 characters (post T4 Jin, Asuka, Xiayou & Bruce) and used them strategically based on who my opponent was. SF doesn't offer the same flexibility to me.
However, SF 3rd Strike & SF EX Plus Alpha (please Capcom, bring back Allen & the Strange Sunset theme) are arguably the greatest beat em up experiences of my youth. I spent countless hours on those games. Even their disciples were piff (Rival Schools

SF is GOAT period...Tekken..and Ive been playing tekken since tekken 3 on the PS1...I can safely say the SF series has given us waay more classics and memorable moments
