i know, i know how to play street fighter but me and you both know charchers like bison, vega, guile, chunn li are much harder to use

and idiot can and use ryu and do the Hadouken by mistake, wrong or right? :mjpls:

Sorry breh, but you have no clue what the fukk you are talking about. There is a reason why Ryu is consistently a top tier fighter, its not just ease of use. In fact in IV Ken and Sagat are MUCH easier to use but Ryu > Ken in terms of priority and Sagat was damn near broken in vanilla IV. SF stays the #1 fighter for the simple fact that damn near anything can beat anything. And the only reason you SAY that Shotos are easy to use is because they have been using the same inputs for 20 cot damn years, inputs that SF created. Driving hasn't changed in 20 years, but learning how to drive a different car still takes time.

Vega is prolly the 1st fighter I can say i'm anywhere close to mastering, and i can wipe the floor with the average Shoto, but some one who knows their fighter through and through from normals to mixups and what pokes work ect. Its gonna be tough breh. Adding a buncha inputs doesn't make a great game or fighter, in fact Bob/Slim Bob is one of the simplest fighters to use in TTT2 and yet he is CONSTANTLY in the top teir, because his moves are solid and to know how to use him effectively you have to chain all that simple shyt together, same thing with Asuka.

Also the only reason cats are talking this blasphemy is because the IV series is kinda weak compared to the rest of the SF series and TTT2 is arguably the best thing Namco has put out in years.

actually in the hood niccas figured out blanka and guile first...i mean hold back then forward and punch is a lot easier for most people to remember. And you also are taking away the fact that different places in the arcade era had different rules, you must be a youngster :childplease: When OG SFII CE dropped there was NO PICKING bosses in many arcades, it was too much of an advantage especially Sagat. But after people figured out the mechanics it was easy. But even now Ryu isn't the most popular, in fact more people picked Ken, Blanka and Guile and even today there are more Kens and Blankas than anything. No fighter is easy to master in SF, like i said you can THINK you know a fighter but i've seen Ryus and Kens get ate up by Dhalsims and Deejays bro.

And its all about ease of use to that person, bro. Some people suck at quarter circles, hell i know people who quit SNK fighters because of the quarter to half circle motion for Supers. So its a moot point thats like asking will people be more comfortable with the steering wheel on the left or right its completely arbitrary.

loooooooool bro where are u going with this

why are we talking about bosses and sf2? i thought we talking about the whole package, everything street fighter, but i know what u are saying

everyone has their fighters their good with, but u cant tell me ryu and ken are not friendly characters that everyone can use, their moves have stayed the same apart from a few minor things

no way are they harder to master, just takes a little bit of time, that is if we talking about combos, juggles and all that

Ryu is consistently hard to master because of the priority of his normals, most people wanna spam specials all day and it takes a special person to hold that back and go with pretty undramatic moves. So yeah he is. I get your point, but only Ken is really user friendly. Honestly, fighters that have come out in recent years imo have been easier to grasp, people took to Juri very quickly same with Yun and Makoto, while cats STILL can't use Ryu to his full potential. That says something about the depth of the fighter.

Why do u think Sagat is easier to use than Ryu?? Btw I agree with most of the points u making but that one statement kinda threw me off :ld:

Sagat's range, simple as that. He's Ryu but slower, stronger and a low fireball. But his standing HK in IV takes away damn near any and all jump ins, his crouching fierce is damn near a DP in damage and he's the king of spam. Sagat was always the "true" boss of SF 2 to me. Sure to overcome his speed takes time but you may not even have to do that if you just spam to death and know how to Tiger Knee :manny: Sagat is damn near cheap to even use.

:comeon:

His mid range - close range game loses to so many mufckin characters(Bison, Ibuki, Akuma, Seth, Ryu, etc etc.) that u literally have to only rely on a good zoning game

spamming fireballs aint gon make u win with Sagat(atleast not in any match worth anything) now using them wisely and utilizing efficient zoning will do that but its easy to blow up a spammin sagat

atleast Ryu can get in rlly well while at the same time having good fireballs, has good close range pressure that can set up tick throws...Ryu has way better pokes than Sagat when it comes to playing footsies...not to mention he can combo into cr. RH and setup a good mixup on knockdown

Im jus sayin..u making it seem like Sagat some braindead ass nikka while Ryu is some hard ass nikka to master in comparison.....Naaah I find that off b

You are right, but you asked about ease of use and i always found him to be easier to use because of it. No one is easy to master like i said before. But If you are half-way compitent with Sagat you have a nice cushion if you get punished. I personally main Vega and i'll eat a Sagat alive cuz of EX Sky High and the Izuna Drop

Sagat also lacks mix-ups because of his low speed. If you get hit by Sagat its your own fault but its just when he does connect its so damn powerful. I actually think Blanka is the king of cheap in IV but that could also be because im a Vega user.
