Tell me why I should care about the individual characters of New Day

I'm trying to understand why I as a proud BLACK man with a soul should care what New Day do. They come out every week and do nonsensical skits with no meaning and continuity, both in a metaphorical or philosophical sense. Who are the individuals? All I see are 3 robots spewing out pop references. No backstory, no meaningful individuality.

They made lemons outta lemonade and have been very entertaining for the most part. Now that they are no longer champs Id like to see a lil edge to them and have them eventually compete for singles titles without completely breaking the group up, especially Kofi has more than paid his dues
