i think one i have is i was in the clubs one night in the summer....shyt was poppin..and i was on the floor with this amazonian chick...big ass and all...dancehall set hit and we were doing our thing....at the end of that..she gave me her number and said her and her friends (there were 2) were going to her friends house to pick up something and then to late night spot...she was like meet us there in half hour..i said bet..so they left and i told my boys i rolled with i was going to be out soon...they knew the deal...so i got to my car..went to get gas and some rubbers...and all the while im texting ol girl saying ill be there in a few and what my car was....i pull into the spot...told them i was there...saw them in the car....they started the car up and broke out....nikka i was fukking heated

What it means when we saying ghosting is really avoidance, it's a soft term for a really fairly negative social trend. Basically anything that causes discomfort or dissonance they will just avoid.

I think about it all the time, people ghost and it's so bizarre, to think about connecting with someone intensely in person, and even having sex, and then, the whole thing unraveling because of digital communication, yet, if you were in person, again, the whole thing would start again.

The hardest ones to me, or the strangest, is like the people who really know you, ghost. I don't use apps or even social media, but I understand like convos can just kind of expire, you might have like 15 convos going with virtual strangers, but sometimes people who are close close to me, relatively speaking ghost.

And I get it, they usually know I'm trying to take them somewhere, take them out, but to me, our relationship is bigger than that, like I don't mind if they are dating and can't see me, or can't even talk, but to ghost someone, like some of these have been at funerals with our loved ones, and it's just a strange feeling, to think someone would hug you tight in person, but ignore a normal text.
