Never understood how they have major universities in the hood like that.. like USC in South Central & Temple in North Philly

Bruh, when I first moved to LA I got cool with this chick. She took me to her family barbecue but before she picked me up she said that they lived near USC. I'm thinking it's a prestigious area, and her family is gonna be like the Banks family. I figured she was the weedhead rebellious fukk up so I decided to dress preppy to fit in with her family. This bytch sees how I'm dressed and doesn't say shyt she just drives me right to Fruit Town a blood hood. I got roasted mercilessly for hours by nikkas who look like they kill nikkas for breakfast with the women in the background yelling “leave that boy alone” periodically. :snoop:

I learned to do my research from then on.

I talked to her a couple of years ago and she said they all moved and the neighborhood was being bought up by the school so it's probably pretty safe/gentrified by now.

Like someone said these universities especially in the Northeast have been around since the 19th century (1800s) others since the 1700s (i.e Yale) when those places were not "hoods" and I am sure universities do not want to uproot and move when the neighborhood gets bad since they are institutions not people.

Temple has been gentrifying some of the surrounding area, but North Philly is still North Philly

Zoo gang is right there, Penntown is practically right there, the Blum close by (notorious Philly gangs)...and those white students nor the TU administration have no idea North Philly is at war with each other and Uptown, which makes frolicking around the area even more dangerous

Meek is from around the area where this officer was shot

I was painting a picture in my mind of how the roasting went with other contributing factors

Well, it's funny that I pictured the Banks family before I went there because they named me Barlton and threatened to “put me on the set” so they could have someone in corporate America. Mind you I was working at Toys R Us at the time.:francis:

They should have done like Yale and buy up half of the city
Temple is and has been buying up the area since I was in undergrad in 2002

But that is slowly but surely pushing out the Black residents aka gentrification

White male shooter though? Phewwwww that's gonna kill A LOT of narratives on campus this week :russ:
