Sorry, I was referring to the Sermon on the Mount and Jesus' teachings on the Commandments.
I'm not debating which is the morally good thing to do. I'm asking what justification you have for thinking you KNOW which person is in fact more likely to do so in that scenario. I know this is all hard to follow, but please try to keep up.

I didn't say that you should have an excellent rebuttal for everything a Christian says, rather that you ought not to descend into insulting them for no just cause. Now that is something that I would call 'childish'.
At the end of the day, Christians don't need to prove that God exists to believe in Him just like people like you don't feel the need to prove that God doesn't exist to not believe in Him. The difference between you and I is that I actually don't pretend to solely base my claims on reason and logic but faith.

it sounds to me that if god did not exist and you knew this (hypothetical) you would find no reasons to follow the rules and societal structures present in the bible. And that someone who subscribes to "nothing" which would be a non-believer cant possibly have founded rules and societal structures. This is the key fallacy.
Our morality and beliefs on the world around us are definitely shaped by our life experiences and our betters at points in our life that gave us the guidance to discern right and wrong. The key is realizing everyone goes through this to different degrees depending on their background. Being religious or non-religious in no way should be used to paint people with such broad brush stroke... Especially with what we know people have done in the name of religion throughout history.

Faith is not "nothing". It's one of the 8 ways of knowing in the theory of knowledge that human beings have used for as long as they've been on Earth. Your claim about the Bible is your opinion, not a fact so I'll let that slide.
