I have no clue how this hasn't been a thing. I remember reading that 30% of men that take a paternity test aren't the kid's father. I think that shows you there's a bunch of men that don't know they're not the biological father to a kid they're raising.

Paternity Fraud should be punishable with prison time and/or hefty fines and naming and shaming of the female perpetrator.
Those exceptions are actually common sense exceptions. Under the law a husband is presumed to be the father of a child carried or delivered by his wife during the marriage. To avoid that problem a man should get divorced if he separates from his wife.
