No. The shooter is a convicted bank robber, who was in the passenger seat and stopped in the middle of a drug transaction. Obviously the only thing that can be confirmed right now is that he is a convicted bank robber:

Warrant issued for suspect in connection with officer death

Compliance is compliance when it is being administered within the confines of the law. I'm not saying let cops abuse your civic rights, but if a possible confrontation can be avoided, that is the most logical course of action to take. Now there are cops who have an agenda of course.. you as a young, black citizen should not give them an opportunity to abuse your basic human rights. Compliance doesn't mean you have to put up with their shyt. It just means you obey the laws without trying to act in a defiant manner - again within the confines of the law. If they do something untoward, make note of it and file a complaint. If they are overstepping their boundaries, then of course it is within your rights to voice your complaints.

And I'm a young, black dude myself. I have been pulled over before for having a suspended license and let go with a ticket. I don't give these dudes an opportunity to try me. I'm assertive and they know that I'm a serious person so the respect is reciprocated.

Him being a bank robber has no bearing on the matter at hand. In fact, that information is irrelevant. So I don't know why you are using that as a basis for what we are discussing. From what I heard, the shooter elected to not show the cop his identification, which he had a right to do so unless you have the Tennessee law saying otherwise. From what we do know the cop pulled in front because the car was illegally parked, not because there was a drug deal taking place. So asking the passenger for his ID is nonsense when he isn't the driver.

Post a link where it shows this was all about showing his ID.

Him being a bank robber is very relevant because it shows he has a propensity for violence, and will likely not want to see the inside of a jail cell again. He at one point was facing a 10-year stretch in jail.

Some of you have the inability to think outside of black and white terms though. Note how the driver of the vehicle turned himself in and was released without incident.
