My job has a code of conduct however if you have a relationship with someone it is ok as long as no one directly reports to each other or has any input in raises and promotions. This makes sense.

Now that it is all out in the open the Celtics needs to be clear on what Udoka did and what rules did he break. In the same token tho what is happening with the female? This was consensual right? When are they going to release this women's discipline? If this is all they gona do then they might as well suspended him for "acts detrimental to the team" and keep it moving quietly.

No man. She was his subordinate. You realize when you get in power positions that you have responsibilities that come with those roles. You should not be a liability to the company. fukking someone that works under you is always heavily frowned upon wether it is consensual or not in the workplace. This is how you get into me too situations. A woman could easily claim you pressured her as her boss. It's a legal nightmare. This is why they threw him to the wolves. They don't want any liability on their part. Now if she was somebody in the organization parallel to him not under him or different department altogether etc. It would not be as big of a deal.

What has this world come to? I thought men were awake during metoo era to learn how to avoid the traps.

You can’t and shouldn’t do what he did, but he ain’t the only one, and if they came down like they did on him, it be a lot of front offices in trouble, the thing is they either don’t like him anymore or they trying to humble him or both, because this ain’t it, you supposed to keep this in house

It's amazing that this has to keep being said. Either the dudes are super young and have little life experience or they're older and have never been in any sort of position of authority in their entire lives.

Let's be real here, breh messed up. This is what comes with it, if you mess up publicly. You can act like it's something outrageous, but people would get much worse than this in the past. You would get killed for doing something like that. The morals have slipped now people are trying to make adultery seem right. It hasn't ever been right and won't ever be right.

all depends on what is going on with the woman. if she was going to talk then they just got ahead of it.

I guarantee she wasn’t, because women who have been in way worse situations took the money, shut the fukk up and got the fukk on, he did what he did, not realizing the organization didn’t really have his back or someone was gunning for him, or both, and probably got sloppy, got caught and someone wanted him gone

Whether Favre is being given equal attention or not, I think the point is that Ime is clearly being made an example of that largely contrasts how these situations are handled in sports with coaches...

It does sound like someone is hinting or leaking that there was harassment, and if that's the case, sure, publicly out him but make a commitment to firing him. If these harassment "hints" are buzzwords to protect the woman or women who affair'd consensually with him, then that's bullshyt. Put the whole thing out if that's the case, don't just embarrass your black coach...

This whole thing is a mess and the Celtics brass are fumbling this entire shyt, especially if we find out its really because a higher up has an axe to grind because his wife couldnt stay faithful to him...

Go ahead and give me another reason to dislike this pathetic franchise...

They really are imo. Did Ime do something to victimize this woman aside from them having a CONSENSUAL fling?
If the answer is no,why is Ime the only one being outed and punished?
Then the followup question is this. If Ime did did do something to her, that negates her breaking the code of conduct. Why are you choosing to protect him by not releasing the details?

If what he did is so horrible that she is now innocent. Seems like you should be firing him and protecting the women:sas1:

But I guess that pitiful organization needs to see how they season goes first:sas2:
