On Luda's chick, I thought I saw a while back that her status as a med school student was in question. She may be a Melanie from the game type of med school student. Like I said I could be mistaken though.

I got a good laugh at how the one dude said he'd go about meeting a doctor or lawyer. I suppose it's possible in theory I guess lol.

Isn't the entire point of this back and forth that these players need to stop messing with obvious gold diggers and find a nice doctor/lawyer type that is NOT a groupie/gold digger? If so idk why ya'll are attacking ol buddy in this thread for telling the truth. Yes being financially stable is important to the vast majority of women but you don't have to have an nba player's salary to be financially stable. You can definitely be a "regular" guy (probably not working at Walmart but hopefully you get my point) and marry a good looking professional woman.

Furthermore, excluding gold diggers, why would a woman that is that accomplished in her field be interested in dating your average professional athlete? We've already scratched off money because the woman in this scenario isn't a gold digger. It can't be companionship because the athlete is on the road at least half of the time. What are these athletes going to talk about with these women? These are just a few practical issues that any intelligent woman would be asking herself if she actually were interested and in position to date a famous player.

From the athlete's pov, most men are intimidated by a woman that's intellectually superior to them. A lot of you already don't trust women now. Can you imagine having a woman 10x smarter than you being able to manipulate you and think 10 steps ahead of you at all times? Plus, when the athlete finally does come home he would want to spend time with his woman right? It would be pretty shytty to not see your lady while you're on the road and when you finally get back you never see her because she is always working. These women worked hard to achieve what they have and their careers are too important to them to drop whatever they're doing to follow around a guy who's career will be lucky to last a decade. Just my 2 cents but ya'll continue on with this coli logic that these dudes need to drop these models who are only interested in their money and power so they can get with a doctor that they can attract with their money and power. lol only on the coli...

Why would a doctor get with a NBA player. NBA players money is like 5-8 years unless they good players and of course Lebron and Kobe are megastars but those dudes could care less about a doctor. Doctors can still be crazy as hell, Michael Steele sister who was Mike Tyson's wife.

Sheldon Williams ain't bagging Candace Parker if he wasn't in the league. He's not anymore but if his ugly ass was a regular joe, he'd have no shot. You want to know why she's with him? He could be a good guy for all I know but his bank account is way larger than hers. Fact.

This is kinda hating tho. Shelden is a NBA player. Shelden had bad chicks on him since HS in OKC. Because of that, Shelden ain't no average Black dude to women. So saying what and what if is pointless. Shelden's last girlfriend was butt ugly, this one(his wife) is fine. It ain't like he's picky either. Candice could get any dude, there is a reason she choose Shelden.

I really can't believe this convo is being had :mindblown: It's in a womans nature to like power/money.

if you think a woman is going to choose you over someone like matt kemp or kobe bryant... then I like your confidence  but your mistaken

Some women might. I mean she would have to maintain Matt Kemp or Kobe Bryant. Those n**gas will cheat left and right on her as*. Now if you 300 pounds, ugly as hell, no swag and 5'11. She probably choosing them regardless of how she feel about getting played but if you got your stuff together and offers what she values, you taking you 10 out of 10 times over them.

These dudes have never interacted with these women on anything other than a patient/representative level so they have no clue. We talking about doctors and lawyers and they start posting super models and professional singers. They think the only thing that is keeping them from a serious relationship with these women is that they cant dribble a ball.

:whoa:to where this thread is going

Aint NO chick leaving a multi-millionaire for a regular dude breh. It's nice to THINK that, but in reality, aint no woman doing that.

She wont mind being cheated on by a Kobe/Matt Kemp, because the status/fame/money will keep her by his side. She will let it slide.

A regular nikka cheating on her? She out the door.

The more money you make, the different rules you play by in this world. Just the way the world is :yeshrug:

Quick example, you making $50,000 a year and you dating a 7is/8ish chick from the burbs...she has her own apartment/car/job and making just as much money as you...it's only so much bullshyt she would take from you before she left, ESPECIALLY if you cheated on her because she's on the same level as you in life.

NOW, if you making $50,000 a year and you dating a straight dime piece chick from the hood...she lives with her parents/no car/no job and lives off food stamps...she will do ANYTHING you say, because she doesnt wanna lose you, even if you cheat on her, she's trying to keep you, because you can provide for her a life she cant herself.

That's how Professional Athletes are to women. They are millionaires....these women see their "chance" at hitting the jackpot.

All women are like that breh. They look at financial status from a man as being "secure". Women look for security first and foremost and will drop her average nikka for a Matt Kemp in a hot second breh.

:gladbron:

Would you leave your girl is she cheated on you? Yes right? Well, how about would you leave Oprah/Mariah Carey if they cheated on you?

No matter how rich or famous a woman is, she will always be attracted to someone richer and famouser.

You got plenty of sports players/actors/whatever with their regular "before I was famous" chicks, but how many famous women do you see with random dudes?

But, that weird looking dude being a pro athlete worth millions played no part in getting that woman.
Girls gne wild for that disturbing looking cartoon character-esque eyes-nose combo. And eastern European men are RENOWNED for their style. Chips fell where they were always gonna fall, ball lyin or not:myman:

1. Thats not the discussion here. The discussion was that since he is an athlete it should be nothing for him to pick up a non gold digging doctor or lawyer and marry her. Im saying its not as easy as going to the lawyer club, picking one up, and marrying her.

2. The bolded isnt true. Ive seen too many examples of that not being the case for you to sit here and say it is. Im telling you from experience that once you hit a certain pay grade money holds less value to the type of women people are saying this guy should marry. One of my best female friends just threw her engagement on hold because the rich nikka she was engaged to straight up told her when they get married she gonna stop working and just have his kids. Ive been out chillin and seen Mike Conley get straight up ignored by a chick sitting at a table of regular nikkas. Now if what you are saying is true then that chick would have jumped out of that booth and went and saw wassup with the NBA player. That lame ass R&B nikka Lloyd tried to spit at a chick i was dating while we were walking in the parking lot at Lenox mall. Did she jump in his ride and leave me? No, she kept it moving with me and we both clowned that nikka on the way home.

3. All women dont want the same thing. You take a woman who went through 12 years of school/residency to become a doctor and finally achieved her dream. She is not going to be as receptive to a nikka showing up and telling her she needs to quit her job and become a stay at home mom. Thats the reason my home girl i mentioned earlier put her engagement on hold. She is studying for the bar exam and wasnt trying to hear that BS homie was talking.

This ain't true breh. Some women will leave and never come back if you cheat no matter who you are. You can't pigeon hole all women. I hate when they try to do that to us.

Me and you from Atlanta. We know these dudes and the women do too. They know about that life and what they really doing and how loyal they are. I think people from small cities or less renowned places rate celebs like their gods. Sheff, I know you doing good $$$ wise. You still in IT?
