Maybe if you only thinking short term. Long term construction is much better than Amazon. Amazon's whole business philosophy regarding employees is to churn and burn them out. They believe that once an employee is there over 2-3 years they become complacent and you get less out of them than a new hungry employee. That holds from warehouse pickers all the way up to corporate employees.
Construction jobs and the skills you learn there are translatable everywhere, you could even start your own business.
