This is a real thing. A friend of mine owns a Tesla and in the first two years got into 2 major accidents in them. Also got his side mirror completely swiped off. It was so bad he contemplated moving to Japan or a country with great public transportation lmao. He still owns a Tesla though and just doesn't drive/park in certain places.
