Have you gotten any better?
Yeah I feel better. Still have a lingering headache. I gained a cough the last few days though. Body is still sore. I’m more active, hitting the treadmill without feeling like I’m gonna faint. Miss my kids man. I’m on day 11 of 14 then I retest. Hopefully it’s negative so I can move around.

Just because you wear a face mask and wash your hands doesn't mean you don't occasionally slip up. Doctors have said some people who thought they were following proper social distancing and being mindful of their hygiene might have touched their door handle without realizing that someone with the virus walked by an hour earlier and coughed or skimmed the surface. Experts believe that there are blind spots we suffer from when outside, instances that we don't even consider, which is contributing to much of the infections. To properly guard yourself against infection, you have be obsessively vigilant and always mindful of everything your fingers touch, never failing to keep your hands clean after touching ANY SURFACE outside your home. ANY SURFACE. NO EXCEPTIONS. And the VAST majority of the public is not going to go to such lengths, unfortunately. :francis:

that’s the biggest thing, because people be in stores opening up cooler doors for food and drinks and forget that they did it

and what about people laying there cellphones on countertops and picking them back up

it’s hard not to slip up

It's the routine shyt that we're so used to doing that we never catch. And there are other reasons people are getting infected (being around someone who coughed or sneezed, or spending an extended period around people who are infected), but this is at the top of them. :francis:

Sorry to say, but you should probably wait an extra week after your negative test. Be on the safe side. If not only to make sure you're not contagious, that extra week will allow any virus on surfaces or in the air to die as well.

I'm curious - what is the point of getting tested for COVID?

If you were already having the symptoms and then you tested negative...wouldn't you still sanitize, stay away from people, not touch anything, etc.?

Once you get the symptoms...what do you do differently when you test positive vs. testing negative for COVID?

So you know for sure if you're a carrier and can potentially contribute to community spread :dwillhuh:

But bro.... if u have it or dont have it...

You should be sanitizing shyt, and doing the social distancing thing anyway right.

So theres no point of getting tested.

Agree

But you're telling me that if you have the symptoms of a specific illness, you wouldn't want confirmation that you do/don't have that illness? You would just :manny: let me get out my Lysol wipes and continue to stay home

And because it's just pointless.
You'll be in that muthafuka for hours, just so they can tell you about some shyt they cant even fix.

We all supposed to stay away from each other anyway...

You have people like Charles Barkley...who supposedly had all the symptoms but supposedly tested negative

Then you have the slew of NBA players that tested positive despite being asymptomatic.

It just seems.... odd. Like they could just tell people at random that they have coronavirus no matter their condition.

And no one still has explained to me what's the point of a curfew/lockdown?
Well

Minimize exposure to the public who can contract and further spread the shyt around.

Whereas keeping bars clubs movies theme parks malls etc open will further contribute to more people contracting it.

It helps isolate hot spots in areas where efforts can be focused instead of allowing people to create hotspots everywhere which will ultimately result in many areas/people being neglected when it's their time for treatment.

Ideally you want to get to a point where the effected have resources available to them and it doesn't burden society because everyone is on board with pandemic behaviorial protocol
