ok i dont completely disagree with you. i look at voting in national elections as damage control right now. obviously the problems black americans face arent going to be solved by the federal government. but having someone whose policy is in line with black interests means at least we wont have to actively push back against presidential policies like now.
I just think building up the community first, then when we're one with one goal in mind, we could look to lobby politicians to do what we want them to do. I dont think you can do both at the same time.
Whats the last president that had policiy "in line with black interests" btw? Because I dont think none of these cacs have our best interest at heart
