Texas has terrible Mexican food.

point blank. I’ve been here since 06. I’ve had Mexican food in every major Texas city from multiple places in each town.(except Austin). I’ve even had it in some the smaller towns. In almost 20 years I don’t even need a full hand to count the amount of places I’ve been to in Texas with good Mexican food. It’s literally only been THREE. One is in Dallas, one is in houston the other was in El Paso(Anthony tx to be exact)

California Mexican food and Chicago Mexican food is wayyyyy better not even close.

it is what it is and it has it place (when you eat with gringos), but yeah it doesn't compare to authentic mexican cuisine.

Never been to Texas but it’s hard to believe this to be a fact.

Also I’ve heard Colorado got some dope Mexican food too.

Also it depends on where in Mexico these ppl are from. NYC Mexico food is sort of d different then Mexican food in Cali, Arizona, Colorado etc.

A Colorado transplant who looks white here in nyc told me she doesn’t like the NY Mexican based food and that the Mexicans here come from a different part of Mexico.

Cali its easily San Diego/Orange County > LA.

LA puts too much "fusion" in their ethnic food sometimes smh.

Not from Texas and never had Mexican food in Texas, but Mike Dean who's been all over the world said La Maria in Cypress,Texas was the best Mexican food he had and the screenshots looked legit.
