In a powerful system that initiates what may be considered an act of tyranny, those that feel protected and granted authority within this power structure (the police and military) are much less likely to defect. Redneck militias can't do much against drone strikes. It would be a slaughter; one so thorough and complete that the US would likely have sanctions placed upon it.

A lot of the white shooters have manifestos, social media histories, ties to right wing groups etc that clearly point to political/social motivations for their crimes. Thus they are textbook terrorists.

The meme is very true because when these white shootings occur the first action by many politicians/media is humanize the perp by jumping directly to “they are mentally ill” instead of asking about their motivations.

Terrorist requires a political motive. A crazy guy going on a shooting spree is not terrorism. The buffalo shooting was terrorism, THIS case, until proven, can't be called terrorism.
