Did you not read the part where I said 'NO EXCUSES' and highlighted that she’s should have declined the role REGARDLESS?

OR the post where I condemned this as an insult to the legacy of the black female slaves that were raped and abused as a matter of course?

...and I maintain what I said. Teyonah Parris' career is not where it should be given the amount of projects she's been on, including being the lead in Chiraq and I don't believe in earnest that she would have taken this role if she was getting the kinds of mainstream looks some of her biracial peers are getting.

Mono racial African American women that are just not getting the mainstream love interest, leading actress type of gigs in mainstream films like Tessa Thompson, Amandla Stenberg, Gugu Mbatha Raw etc. have gotten these past few years and yes whilst this is grade A buffoonery, I don't believe Teyonah would have done this if she wasn't desperate for a bigger career push.

YOURE FULL OF shyt
AND PLAYING BOTH SIDES OF THE FENCE.

THIS THREAD HAS ABSOLUTELY NOTHING
TO DO WITH THE COLORISM
YOURE TRYING TO SNEAK IN HERE.
DIDNT THE STEINBERG CHICK
fukk A NAZI IN A MOVIE?

SHES A VILE WENCH
WHO WAS MARRIED TO A CAC.

SLAVE PLAY COMES NATURAL.

You can maintain it all you want but this is why you've been called out for making excuses.

What makes this chic entitled to a better career than she has? Nobody is entitled to anything in hollywood. Im quite sure there are plenty of black women just as talented and beautiful as she is who will never get the opportunities that she's gotten.

"I dont believe in earnest she would have taken this role if she was getting the kind of mainstream looks....."

You have absolutely nothing to base this on except your heart. This is what you want to believe. The reality is that her being willing to demean herself and other blacks like this is probably why she got on in the first place. There's no telling what shes done/doing behind the scenes on the low. She took the role because she's a bedwench sellout piece of shyt just like all the other blacks involved with this. No excuses.
@Gravity tf you so mad about? :rudy:

I just went on her insta... No pictures with any straight/normal black men, plenty of wench looking friends... You nikkas shoulda known smh.

'Wench looking friends'? Are you serious? What does one such friend look like?

If you look at her Instagram, some of her closet friends are Naturi Naughton and Danielle Brookes, both of whom are with black men. please stop using this as an excuse just to spout hate speech towards black women. She's also friends with Corey Gibbons that played Dr. Dre in Straight of of Compton.

Teyonah Parris is an embarrassment for this, but the hate speech in here is insane, and yet the thread hasn't been thrown to the bushes desire that.

You can call a black woman a sellout without dragging other black women into it, not using the same kinds of epithets that demean the very ancestors that Teyonah herself is disrespecting with this nonsense.

I got flagged for hate speech for highlighting that a Youtuber was dating downwards and his girlfriend happened to be white WITHOUT using ANY hate speech or racial epithets- but this is OK? My whole thread was thrown to the damn bushes but you have people in here freely using the term 'bed wench' to describe black women they don't like all up and down this thread like that's normal.

Keep that same energy Coli Moderators.

Problem is we don’t have a serious Black spokesman to put the heat on these types. We don’t have anymore like Khalid so this kinda shyt never gets addressed the way it should on a national platform.

Black people like the faq playwright and the wench need to be humiliated publicly, and should never be allowed to feel comfortable around real Black people. We have too many openly proud c00ns who feel safe today.
