I would like to sit down and have a conversation with this girl. Like....how did you think this was a good idea? I've always been this amatuer psychiatrist (took a couple of psychology classes in college) so I'm always fascinated by how some people think. Like, I want to know about her upbringing. Was she abused? Does she have a low self esteem? What the fukk is going on in her head?

Go make some shyt like this, but about the holocaust, and see what happens. That's my problem with this play. The antebellum romanticizing of slavery, and that we're just supposed to be okay with it. As if things like buck breaking didn't happen.

This.

she trying to get paid... her face and body says she should be top in black hollywood.. but she can't get shyt for roles. she gotta die on this horse. plus, white people love this. they'll pay her for her selling out

I haven't seen the Beale St movie, but, let's be real; how talented is she, really?

I only remember that she was fine as hell in Chiraq and that's the real way she stood out, not her performance.

well that's exactly what I said... Her face and body say she should be more popular.. Obviously her talent isn't doing it either.. And this is what she's left with.

I'm not making excuses... I'm really wondering what the fukk is going on in her brain..

This shyt right here though:hhh::gucci::dwillhuh:

“Then there’s Alana (Annie McNamara), the tightly wound mistress of the house, whose massive antebellum couch-cake of a dress conceals a would-be dominatrix who wants nothing more than to sodomize Phillip (Sullivan Jones) — the tall, super-buff, violin-playing house slave — with a giant black dildo. And somewhere outside the windows of Alana’s bedchamber, there’s Gary (Ato Blankson-Wood), a slave who’s been granted authority over the white indentured servant Dustin (James Cusati-Moyer). Dustin — who has an ambiguous look about him, as if he might be Italian or perhaps Latinx — seems to resent being called “white,” and he and Gary soon end up in a violent tussle that morphs into an equally violent make-out session. When Dustin starts licking Gary’s “big black” boot, Gary comes. And then cries.”
