Got this Summer of '98 from Columbia House (remember them?). Kurupt tore this shyt to shreds and pretty much inspired me to write rhymes like a maniac back then. I had pages and pages and notebooks filled.

Had a Mexican homeboy who was into Cypress Hill and more non-GFunk sample based stuff then and he didn't like it, said it "sounded like techno". For some reason this statement sticks out in my mind lol

Haha techno . Funny how the most idiotic comments live forever in your mind . I remember GRODT era seeing 50 live , while Yayo was in prison . A guy I knew was at the show insisting he was performing . 'Nah they've been promoting him out here'
I've quoted that for years based on how dumb it was .


But yeah Dogg Food is a classic . Kurupt destroyed it and the beats were great.

What would you do is a great song . Interesting it didn't end up on Dogg Food and was a B side . But I mean it got enough spin on soundtracks back in the day .

Yeh I'm aware there was a video but it wasn't on the album. It was a B side on U Better Recognize and the on the Natural Born Killers and Murder was the Case soundtrack.
