weak album imo. the only track I would ever want to hear again is that "Do What I Feel" joint.

Nuthin but a Cavi Hit is far better than ANY song on Dogg Food

Dogg Food, Liquid Swords and Doe or Die all dropped within a few weeks of each other. I remember copping all three the same day, being stuck on them all for the rest of '95.

shyt felt like a classic album was dropping every other week back then! I could easily listen to Dogg Food without skipping a track. Ridiculously dope album.

believe it or not, I only gave this album a chance this year..... never listened to it.

EASILY a classic album. this could have come out in January and you wouldn't be able to tell the difference.

It also made me realize how much the east coast (and by proxy, the rest of the nation's) sound of hip hop as flip flopped over the years, while the west coast hasn't really changed sonically, outside of that played out synth whistle.

I've prolly listened to this album 500 times since January.

Everyone always tries to compare albums to Illmatic with it comes to status, but if there was a west coast version of SMiff-n-Wessun's "Dah Shinin", this is it.
