Thai Navy Seal has died in Thailand cave rescue

Maybe having the kids try to dive out is a bad idea?
The concerns that I've heard are that the kids are in a relatively small area and with 4 months left in the rainy season, they could be flooded out of it. Also, they don't know how well oxygen supplies within their section of the cave will be maintained.

4 months stuck in a dark cave could be a hell of a mind bend too.

so how did they get down there in the first place? :dwillhuh:
They walked.

It rained extremely hard while they were in there and all the water drained into the cave, to the point where water levels were rising 6 inches an hour. Parts of the cave that they had been able to walk through on the way in flooded to the point they became completely underwater before they could get out.

Trying to rescue them now. Kids don’t know how to swim either they’re saying

Thailand cave rescue: Mission to save boys under way Rescue mission for Thai boys begins
Risky, but I understand why they've made the decision to rush it.

If they pull it off with everyone surviving they're heroes in the true sense of the word.
