You still participate in the feast thats in honor of the holiday.
Lets say they created a holiday in order to celibrate the killing of Emmit Till and they ate a particular feast on that day,
When that holiday comes around each year, are you going to still eat that feast they created on that day and say WELL IM NOT EATING THIS FOOD TO CELEBRATE HIS KILLING?
