Am I the only one who has gained appreciation and respect for Lebron due to these playoffs, and in fact a finals loss will not phase his legacy to me AT ALL??

Yeah 2011 was bad, but he had back to backs since

lets face it, that first loss to the Spurs was a guarantee and this year he had no business taking this team to the finals

the same posters who picked Chicago to beat Cleveland are the same ones saying "he has an easy path the finals" :russ:

2005, if Wade doesn't injure his rib, they close out Detroit in Game 6, and I think Wade would've snapped on that 2005 Spurs team. 2005, 2006, 2011 FMVP

So if everything plays out right then wade should have 6 rings and 3 fmvp

he would be top 10 ever then :mjlol:

people are tribal. i'm obviously in the kobe clan. you're in the lebron clan. and then we have the majority of people still in the jordan clan. LeBron will NEVER get his proper due from everyone. Neither will Kobe. You should just be resigned to that fact. at the end of the day we'll always argue. right now the jordan clan has the strongest arguments. if lebron loses, both the kobe clan and the jordan clan will use that loss as ammunition to knock him down vis-a-vis our guy. its just part of the game and you gotta learn to accept it.

as a kobe stan, i've learned to accept it. I've known for 5-10 years now that kobe will NEVER get his proper due because people are in their nature tribal.

And what is Kobe's proper due exactly?

being 100% objective, my top 10 all-time is:

1. Jordan/Kareem
2. Kareem/Jordan
3. Russell
4. Magic
5. Kobe/Duncan
6. Duncan/Kobe
7. Shaq
8. Bird
9. LeBron
10. Wilt/Hakeem

pretty solid list, I'd probably have Wilt ahead of Bron/Bird though

Lebron got humbled by that ass whooping served by them Mavs and it made him more mature.

Sucks for his legacy but great for his growth as a player.

Tragic Johnson?

He averaged 18.0 ppg, 13.6 apg, 7.7 rebs, 2.0 stls, and .9 blks while shooting 56% FG in his 1st Finals appearance against the Celtics. What was the problem/reason they were calling him "Tragic Johnson":dahell:

@SkiHatDaGawd ...is this true breh?:lupe:
Yes niqqa...yes! That skinnin' and grinnin niqqa CHOKED. I hated him for years because of that, I remember @NYC Rebel questioned me years ago on why I loved the Lakers but didn't like Magic, and this was part of the reason why. Like Reb said, DJ was in that ass and kept Magic off balanced and indecisive. When we lost in the finals 4 times, I blamed Magic because.....fukk that niqqa, but I love him though because he's underrated.
