Yes niqqa...yes! That skinnin' and grinnin niqqa CHOKED. I hated him for years because of that, I remember @NYC Rebel questioned me years ago on why I loved the Lakers but didn't like Magic, and this was part of the reason why. Like Reb said, DJ was in that ass and kept Magic off balanced and indecisive. When we lost in the finals 4 times, I blamed Magic because.....fukk that niqqa, but I love him though because he's underrated.

Yall the basketball OGs, you and @NYC Rebel so I already know yall keep it real about what went down:salute:

I never knew this, actually never heard of it, so I appreciate the insight from yall on this:obama:

Tragic Johnson is an old hood tag. Reb and I, although we don't know each other, lived in the same hood at one point of our youth. All this Lebron this and Lebron that stuff ain't new, watch years down the road how everyone will forget how great he was ala Kobe, Bird, Magic, Zeke, etc., know this though, we loved and supported our Black superstars back then, today niqqas look for faults instead of embracing greatness. You should've been around BEFORE Jordan won a ring, niqqas WAS HATING, not the hood though, we saluted that Black greasy niqqa, I hated him too though.

people are tribal. i'm obviously in the kobe clan. you're in the lebron clan. and then we have the majority of people still in the jordan clan. LeBron will NEVER get his proper due from everyone. Neither will Kobe. You should just be resigned to that fact. at the end of the day we'll always argue. right now the jordan clan has the strongest arguments. if lebron loses, both the kobe clan and the jordan clan will use that loss as ammunition to knock him down vis-a-vis our guy. its just part of the game and you gotta learn to accept it.

as a kobe stan, i've learned to accept it. I've known for 5-10 years now that kobe will NEVER get his proper due because people are in their nature tribal.

:whoa:

Im definitely not in the lebron clan i just think its time we give the man his dues but I get what youre saying

im repping that Team Kareem

When should he have won a third :comeon:

I'll let nikkas rock with the Dallas Series ( although if Bron plays like Bron Wade ain't MVP)

Let me know the other year though:patrice:
LET us rock with 2011 as if Wade being the best player on the court was debatable. Bron didn't have to be Bron for Miami to win. The problem was we kept FORCING LBJ to be LBJ down the stretch. In Game 2 in particular, if we take the ball out of LBJ's hands and keep feeding Wade, Miami holds on to that 15 point lead, and goes up 2-0, and possibly 3-0 on Dallas because Miami won Game 3. It seemed like the Heat offense was fine with Wade running offense. Bosh, and Chalmers got theirs. The only person who played waaaay below their capability was LBJ. He didn't play well off the ball, he settled for alot of fadeaways, he didn't establish any semblance of a post game. LBJ didn't have to play like the FMVP for Miami to win. That narrative is false to me. Look at well Wade contributed to the 2012 Heat in the Finals. He averaged 22pts 6ast, 5rebs without dominating the ball. I could understand if the overall offense was suffering behind Wade dominating the ball in 2011, but Wade wasn't a ball stopper, and he was SUPER efficient(he shot like 55% from the field), and Bosh and Chalmers still got theirs. Oh yeah, and when I said Wade should have 3FMVP's I meant he should've had 1 in the LBJ Era(2011) and 2 in the pre-LBJ. If Wade doesn't get injured in 2005 ECF(rib) then Miami closes Detroit out in Game 6. I feel like 2005 Wade would've snapped on SA. So 2005/2006/2011 FMVP.

Dunked on my man Ewing his first week in the league then made a song about it.:wow:

Part of the reason people discount Shaq is all the great centers were pretty much gone by the time he really reached his prime. Seeing how he dominated them in his early years scary to think what he would have done to them once he really learned the game.

that's why that "b-b-but who did he beat?!?!" argument has always been so retarded. shaq was putting in work on all the big name centers (and every other one) from his 1st year in the league. dude came into the league a monster. individually, he pretty much played prime hakeem to a standstill...in the finals...in his 3rd season. but we're supposed to act like shaq wouldn't be shyt if he played some "real" centers later in his career? riiiiight. :comeon:

as far as 2011 goes, no doubt bron fukked up...i think the mavs defense deserves some credit too though. they took away driving and passing lanes, got him out of his spots, they just totally took him out of his comfort zone...bron had no answers for what he was facing. he didn't know what to do and he just became weird and passive.

So if everything plays out right then wade should have 6 rings and 3 fmvp

he would be top 10 ever then :mjlol:
The Heat were 1 game away from reaching the Finals behind Wade putting 42points on that stout Pistons defense. The best player on Miami gets injured and misses a pivotal Game 6 that would have closed Detroit out. Yeah, I can't guarantee they'd beaten SA. But Wade was ridiculously good.

Their defensive effort was criminally underrated that year. They held Durant, Westbrook and Kobe in check as well.

kobe had a 4 point game and an 8 point game against the Pacers in the finals

:mjlol:

Kobe scored 8 on a horrible shooting night from the field and scored 2 points in another game because he only played 9 minutes:camby:

You really wanna compare LeBron's 1st NBA Finals to Kobe's 1st NBA Finals?:sas1:

You wanna pull up footage of the 2007 NBA Finals?:sas2:
