he even added some old unreleased songs on Itunes. TDE added an unreleased song from 2009 on itunes a few months ago and these idiots thought it was the new single of his sophomore album

It didn't get a great response from radio initially so Interscope pulled back on the song... they actually had a date set to shoot the video it happens more often then people think... they didn't want to take a chance on Kendrick because they spent too much time & money building him up so they released "Swimming Pools" because T-Minus was hot at the time...
Artists & Labels always save face from unsuccessful songs by calling them "unofficial" Singles & "street" Singles ala "Guap" ("Fluap"

That's not how it works though. Interscope "trusted" Dre & Kendrick at first & once the song got a lukewarm response they said fukk it & went with the hot hand which happened to be T-Minus at the time...

First off it says on iTunes, in the song title, "The Recipe - Single". Secondly I googled Now or Never iTunes and didn't get anything so I don't know what you're talking about.

none of these songs were supposed to be on GKMC... GKMC was already done when kendrick signed to aftermath. kendrick said several times before releasing them joints that they weren't for the album
Actually, money trees was supposed to be the first single, PJ the second, BDKMV the third and MAAD City was the 4th single... you can even find leaked pics of the money trees video (director director: TAJ_TPK) but fans loved swimming poll and it became the lead single.
