At the beginning of mean streets
He was too nice to that girl who's not even his daughter. Why he buying her cars while she lives at home and was going to college? He should've been tougher and told her to get a damn job. Her and her mothers affections were still tied to the baby dad. It was not the step dads responsibility to do all that, he's not supposed to be the provider.

even bcrusaderw can't defend these bytches :wow:
She's not a bytch for wanting a bond with her biological father. I'm going to assume that this woman is at least 22 (probably older) that means that her stepfather started the father figure role in her life when she was 12 or older. By then love and longing for the affection of your biological parents is cemented. He shouldn't feel slighted by that. He's justified in being angry at the other bad things that they did to him though.

No... I implied no such thing... The idea of a "better" is subjective and can only be determined by the parties involved in this scenario...

I provided a possible rationale as to why he was treated like an atm and not like part of the family...

This no "business contract" is probably why he was treated like an atm and not family...
you're playing with words at this point. if you're saying the probable reason why (causation) he was treated like an ATM and not family is because he didn't marry her, it implies that he probably would not have been treated like an ATM had he married the girl. would you agree to that?

It's one thing to want a bond with your biological father.

It's another to completely disregard someone who's taken care of you for the past 10 years in the process
