I`m making a General Statement on the posters who come in every thread saying the same stuff. And If you took the Future example as Literal, you must be referring to yourself as a hit dog. Not sure how it wasn't easy to extract the underlying message of my post.
Didn't even read it. Just skimmed it after you called me a Tariq hater.

Are we, as black men, this hard up to be lead? Are we really looking for leadership through these guys?
I think it stems from a lack of Black male leadership in the home. I listen to Tariq for laughs and I think he's a great Social Psychologist but so many young dudes are looking for some kind of guidance they'll take it wherever they can get it.

I shake my head at some of these poor young Black men who need advice with the most simple shyt.

Is he meant to be funny. Honest question. I've never listened to him, but a lot of guys say they listen for laughs.

:mjlol:

They're both frauds. One is a fake doctor who denigrates black women on moral grounds while secretly fukking strippers. The other is a failed rapper and former PUA who now sells poorly researched/sourced "history" to black people while pimping faux militant bullshyt.

Here's your white pat on the head....do you feel accomplished now?

How do i unsuscribe from threads? Im tired of getting alerts for people writing page long responses about how they dislike people they allegedly dont oay attention to or follow.
exactly. these devils aren't fooling nobody. No one is worshiping these guys, but the truth they speak is undeniable. The cacs and c00ns they make uncomfortable are the only one feeling some type of way. Meanwhile, the so called black intellectual/upity negros who turn their nose down at brothers like Tariq and Umar and instead worship at the feet of "sanctioned c00ns" like Henry Louis Gates Jr should be ignored at this point in my opinion. Especially after these fake so called "African Americans" like c00n Gates Jr stay getting exposed for telling half truths and protecting the legacies of white supremacists like his Hollywood friend Ben Afleck.

Anyone hating on Tariq or Umar over their personal issues can GTFOH as far as i'm concerned. Until these fakkits criticizing these brothers can show us all their clean, skeleton-free closets, they should step the fukk on with their disdain, cause we honestly don't give a fukk...:manny:

Lol...I know. Both of these guys are straight up class clowns and charlatans and these dudes are arguing over which one is better. :mjlol:

nikkas like "I'll take L. Ron Hubbard over Gary Trudeau."
so we letting indians dip in black issues and call people nikkas now and we not calling it out

not to mention this

He is, but so are a lot of GOATs...Nas, Mos Def, Prodigy, Killah Priest, Lupe Fiasco. :manny: Hell, 5% ideology is smartdumb niggology, but Wu-Tang, Gangstarr, Brand Nubian, Rakim, KMD (Nuwabians) gave us 5%-inspired classics. It is what it is. You can't expect rappers to be academic sholars.

Gang violence...
with how publicly hard society has been on black people in the last few years, the black youth in particular, i have become me more tolerant of otherwise problematic black folks who seem to be somewhat useful in a black nationalism sort of way. entrepreneurship and "codes of conduct" are certainly the missing component that civil rights victories cant really address and a lack of focus on these have left us in this uncomfortable position of having a black president and legal protection from obvious racism while still being vulnerable to the whims of the non-black majority in everyday kinds of ways due to us only building on soft power and no hard power.

in the past, i would have written all of these hotep people off immediately, but recent events have forced me to see they legitimately had a more radical angle on some issues that the legacy black empowerment movements are terrible at (the NAACP is a joke, obama is racially useless, black church is forgiving white people, sharpton and jackson are bought, etc.) so i try to be a little understanding of their flaws and cherry pick the good from the bad. umar is right that the education system is terrible for black kids and black boys in particular. he, however, is not really qualified to do much more beyond pointing that out. tariq is right that we need a code of conduct and black business, but macking and gold digging is toxic to the black family.

i wish people didnt need to go to people like this for guidance, but the truth is, most people are pretty ignorant about serious topics, and the "house of konsciousness", an umar lecture, or hidden colors might be the first time they ever really got into the kinds of topics that help build ethics and worldviews. i suppose their success in this space is a net positive. i just hope that once they get to a certain level they outgrow these dudes.

bruh you gotta realize all of the "so and so" haters literally are here to waste your time as they aren't doing anything in real life. Nobody with an actual life has the time to study someone and give dissertations on why someone is a fraud or dislike them. Hell even in the Umar Case, I`m like dude doesn't have a plan for the school so I`m not giving money, the end, while you have cats on here finding secret footage from 1984 of Umar Eating pork chops, posting transcripts and yada yada yada, lol this internet stuff isn't that serious. So once again most of these folks are either 1.Agents here to waste your time by getting you to argue passionately about nothing or 2.People who literally have no lives and post these detailed opinions about how someone is bad and a fraud to make themselves feel important and accomplished so they can say they are "doing something for the community" by "awakening" the "people".

Cats need to log the hell off and go to chick fil a or something.
