I already told you I was sitting this one out ...
Have fun with capping for the Democrats thinking sh!t is any different between them and repubs

You'd have a better chance of reparations with Democrats than Republicans. That much should be clear. Especially if they get enough liberal and progressive judges to the courts.

They don't even fukk with Medicare for all or Free College. You really think they gonna push for reparations :dahell:

That shyt aint happening. Honestly, if we want reparations, we gotta create our own. And the people who deserved it the most are dead and gone anyway.

That's not what I said. I said you have a better chance at reparations with Democrats than you do with Republicans. I didn't say they're just gonna hand it to you or push for it. That's an entirely, completely different thing.

We are really trying to excuse the crime bill now:stopitslime:
I was born in 84 so I remember that era clearly. I had both crack dealers, and crackheads in family. Me and my mother’s home was broken into multiple times to the point where we had bars on our windows. I heard gunshots all the time at an early age. I lived through that era and I still feel it is no excuses for that terrible piece of legislation. I don’t care if the members of the CBC supported the bill. We all know many members of the CBC are bought by corporate interests. Even with that said, Bill Clinton had to personally apply pressure to many of the CBC members in order to get the bill passed.

Look we can justify voting for Biden, without making excuses for his role in pushing for tough on crime legislation in the 80s and 90s. The 94 crime bill incentivized states to build more prisons and gave excessive/unfair sentences for non violent offenders. There was much better ways to address the increase in crime. These tough on crime bills were pushed by racist human garbage like Strom Thurmond. Think about that before trying to defend it.

you’re wrong. It was the 86 bill that created the crack-cocaine disparities that got a lot people hit with long sentences

There were no other ways to address crime being offered at that time

one of thing the crime bill did was ban the sale of automatic weapons. Bush never gets criticized for letting the ban expire

I never said the 94 crime bill created the crack to cocaine sentencing disparities. I said that it created incentives for states to build private prisons, and gave unfair sentences for non violent offenders. All facts. The Bill gave grant money to states to build prisons. Then states started to crackdown on minor offenses partly to keep all of these new prisons occupied. On top that, Three Strikes was part of the bill, which drastically increased the prison population.

I also emphasized that Biden was part of the get tough on crime legislations in the 80s and 90s. I agree something needed to be done about the raise in crime but I flat out reject that the 94 Crime Bill was the answer. The consequences of these types of bills were predictable. Although Bernie Sanders voted for the 94 version of the bill, he voted against the attempted 91 version. Bernie was able to predict many of the negative outcomes of this legislation. That why I also criticize putting the violence against women act in this bill. They boxed in many politicians that would of voted against it.

The bill is/was fukked up and the person he helped hand the bill off to (Clinton) is absolutely poison, despite nikkas claiming him as one of their own in the 90's. It shows you just how much game got run on us by democrats and the black political class.

But I also understand first hand how much violence was going down in hoods around the nation. The REAL issue is, as Biden was pushing for the bill that "does everything but hangs people for jay walking" he simultaneously told everybody that he didn't give a shyt about addressing the conditions that helped cause the crime, he, Clinton and the rest of the 'third way' neo-liberals didn't want the GOP to have a monopoly on keeping blacks in line.

They got the 'tough on crime' confidence from white moderates and republicans.
Black people got disproportionately punished for shyt these same handful rich white men did to deliberately harm the black community.

And there is STILL no real concern for what was driving crime, poverty and inequality decades down the line as we're being asked to literally support the same crackas that set the table how it is now, purposely. Bill has even opened his mouth in 2020 to tell you what kinda resistance negro they prefer you to be as you decide how to move and what to do. Do whatever you wanna do with that as far as your vote, but to ask people to refrain from pointing it up so you can see exactly what you're voting for with sober eyes is ridiculous. Everything they do, every bone they throw is to keep the gears turning without upsetting enough people, black in particular to make them jump out of the boiling pot. As long as they refuse, just like Biden did to address the root issues and enact substantive, fundamental change, the police state he helped flourish will keep coming down on us and systemic racism will get more efficient and easier to deny, because they're the "good" guys.

I mean, I'm still voting for Joe. But damn. You ain't wrong. :wow:

It would be beautiful if the overwhelming majority of the people who are on this type of time could be this mindful about it, it would be a chance that people might not go back to sleep as they try to pull off another house nikka dream scheme after Biden's eyeballs fall out of his head in a year or two.

Some of the people who are fed up have understandably swung to an extreme. I'm hoping there's balance. It's not Biden will save us. Or the Dems will save us. It's simply will we get more from the Dems than the GOP. But only if we push them to do so. Even if we say and even all agree that the Dems are bad, that still leaves the options of worse and worst. The GOP for us have been those 2 categories for us as well.
