They act like Republicans were just bystanders in the whole thing — THE REPUBLICANS WERE SAYING THE DEMOCRATS WERE WEAK ON CRIME WHICH PROMPTED THE BILL TO BEGIN WITH :mindblown:

Well that's how they support each other. You can't have one without the other. And they do it all off the backs of black people. You don't think dems support trump? lol they all do secretly.

When do principles ever come into it? Dems what will they stand for despite the politics?
So now their constituency, specifically us Black people want to eliminate racial inequality in the criminal justice system. Can they just be talked out of it now if Republicans say they are soft on crime?
You are admitting niqqaz ain't about shyt. lol

No, I'm trying to free minds. I want as many black to be saved as possible.

Satan is nothing but death. take it from me I seen it unfold before my eyes for the 37 years of my life. I can run it down but I'm not going to do that.

it's all about doing what's right. Wanting to do what's right. That's mostly what God cares about. Why do black people have to take all the bullshyt and Satan just sits there and laughs and black people follow in a sleepy despair. It is not right.

what do you want from me?? y'all know what I mean. I may not be able to fully express myself how i feel right now and it might come out a little hard on the edges to you brehs. But trust me I mean well. I don't think it's black people fault. Or that black people ain't about shyt. We really in this all together whoever you are. I don't want to suggest you are not black if you die with satan. I don't really want to do that. But I really don't like racism. I feel if you support racist it rubs me the wrong way. You can be whoever the fukk you want and still have black pride bro. But what do you want from me to tell you that satan been good to you??? It hurts me to see you hurt for satan. I don't like it. I wish i could save everyone, But like the song smile says but i'm a dreamer. God has always had my back I Know I'm going to make this out fine. I just really think black people should think about God and who is really on their side. That's all... I don't know why people reject the idea about being saved like I'm proposing something evil to you.. I guess some of us don't like to see others fly if they feel they can't and think they are right.

It's all love.

confusing how "high crime back then" is to justify this bill, while being triggered by the phrase "law&order" for crime committed today
OR
afraid to answer, "what type of community you live in" after sharing negative views on law enforcement

no politician should be earning/losing your vote for having views that are beyond politics, like safety...imagine a politician being able to run on a platform of "keeping water free/clean for everybody":childplease:

case by case accountability/punishment for police misconduct and criminals should never have been politicized/trivialized
It's been counterproductive to condition these politicians for decades to view "police/prison reform" as the primary problem in Black communities, despite the majority of Black folks not benefiting from such policies

Dumbest statements y’all keep saying is everybody wanted the bill. Who is everybody? It definitely wasn’t the black people in these cities. It was out families getting caught up the most. You think ya grandma wanted a bill to lock up her grandson for 30 years? You think yo uncle wanted a bill to send his daughter to prison for 15 years for crack possession?

government flood black neighborhoods with drugs and create a epidemic then double back and introduce legislation to lock up all the black folks that got caught up. 30 years later on the internet 25 year olds talking about what it was like in 1995 and how everybody wanted the bill after reading online for a few hours. :stopitslime:

it was more about the bodies. People getting killed. The shootings. People been getting high since forever. But once kids start catching strays, everyone takes notice.

We are really trying to excuse the crime bill now:stopitslime:
I was born in 84 so I remember that era clearly. I had both crack dealers, and crackheads in family. Me and my mother’s home was broken into multiple times to the point where we had bars on our windows. I heard gunshots all the time at an early age. I lived through that era and I still feel it is no excuses for that terrible piece of legislation. I don’t care if the members of the CBC supported the bill. We all know many members of the CBC are bought by corporate interests. Even with that said, Bill Clinton had to personally apply pressure to many of the CBC members in order to get the bill passed.

Look we can justify voting for Biden, without making excuses for his role in pushing for tough on crime legislation in the 80s and 90s. The 94 crime bill incentivized states to build more prisons and gave excessive/unfair sentences for non violent offenders. There was much better ways to address the increase in crime. These tough on crime bills were pushed by racist human garbage like Strom Thurmond. Think about that before trying to defend it.
These dudes are really making excuses for 25 year sentences for a 1st time offenders with a ounce of crack. . . . AFTER their own government put the drugs in the community. . .

*sighhh*
