Freaky tahs death was tragic. I remember the article from the ny poat that day

Legal drug money is one of my top 10 albums all time. Cheeks was a great mc. Freaky tah was on his way to the GOAT hypeman. The prosuction was great. Hooks in crediblw.

Prolly my 4th fav geoup of the time

1.wu 2.mobb 3.onyx 4. LBz

They were overshadowed because kf the great groups. I actually hear a lot of them in todays music. The sinple lyrica. Great hooks.

Love LEGAL DRUG MONEY. One of tue greatest albums and wasnt given as much credit as it deserved. 5 mics. Easily

Universal fukked up with them so badly man. Album came out in 1996, half the album was bootlegged for almost over a year.

That first album was so many bangers... they hit us back to back with hits for a year and a half, consistently, off one album!

Lifestyles of the Rich, spring '95
Jeeps/Lex Coupes...- summer/fall '95
Renee- winter '96
Music Makes Me High and The Yearn- summer '96
Get Up (the remix!)- late '96

All bangers, from one album... LBs definitely are underrated just off of how they had that run. I dn't think the 2nd album had that same firepower, but we did get "Me & My Crazy World" and "Beasts" out of it. They were big on radio, clubs, and mixtape/street level. Shoulda gone so much further.

damn right

Loved Lost Boyz and i was a heavy heavy west coast head, I did not fukk with any NY rap besides Biggie

I used to work a few blocks from the hotel that Freaky Tah got killed in front of and would hit the park across the street from the hotel up during my lunch break.

I'll never forget, me and my boy were there on the anniversary of Tah's death and a literal caravan of cars pulled up out front of the Crowne Plaza blasting LB shyt, everybody hopped out and proceeded to pour out a drink and light up right in front of the hotel.

Broad day, partied it up for a good 5 minutes until the song was over, everyone hopped back in their cars and dipped.
