I'm pretty sure that Villanova is in, and losing to the #4 team in the nation won't be a bad enough loss to put them out.

I've considered them a lock since that win vs. Georgetown. They are in a FAR better position than the other bubble teams.

Just my two cents, of course.
I like how doing mediocre in a strong conference gets you in, nova lost by fukkin 18 points to columbia. But they got some home wins against good teams, no one is winning much on the road this yr.

If they're gonna put Kentucky in off of 2 ranked wins ( :belip: ) and a cupcake conference, I'm pretty sure they'll put in Nova with 4 (3 of them against Top 5 ranked opponents) and either the first or second best conference in the country.

Their numbers are simply the same or better, almost across the board:

Kansas had a horrible loss to TCU, but they're still a lock for a 2 seed.

Uncharacteristically bad losses are usually just that - uncharacteristically bad losses.

Just be glad UCONN isn't in the postseason, y'all would really be sweating for a spot, then.

I'm just saying, we could've got that record even if we were in the big east just off home wins alone, it's just the SEC sucks so bad we dont get the opportunity for any quality wins, and since it's hard to win on the road, we suffer even more because the losses are bad (fukking Arkansas was 16-1 at home)

I think that Villanova is in too. I just dont want to call them a "lock" incase all of these other bubble teams go ham and make conference finals, or win tourneys. When a few of the other teams lose today, I'll move 'Nova to lock status. Those strong wins outweighs the losses much more then other teams.

The Fightin' Hornets of Delaware State live to fight another day. Up next: a team they've already beaten once this year. 8-)

Good luck to Del. St. I am still pissed that my alma mater (NC Central) was one of those top 4 seeds to blow it in the qtrs. And to NC A&T of all teams. We beat them twice already. Terrible. Had the bid in the bag once Norfolk St. lost too. SMH.

the SEC is underrated. dissappointing this year, but underrated.

:salute: to the atlantic 10. 2 quarter-final games making the top headlines on sportscenter, even tho it was kinda for the wrong reasons.

refs just saw the push and by letter of law its a foul on dead ball

Saw the Xavier game that was crazy.I was saying maybe teams when they have only a second or two and half to go the length of the court might want to aim for the back board on the inbound with a good chance of a crazy bounce instead of just heaving it in the air which usually gets stolen

man, i was watching the richmond/charlotte game. charlotte was up 3 and richmond started giving up intentionals, so i walked off and did something. when i came back, richmond was winning, on the line, and taking a bunch of foul shots. one of the biggest :wtf: moments in basketball ever.

and i watched the ending of that xavier/st joe's game in real-time as well. i wasnt even surprised when dude missed that layup. a tru 'too good to be true' moment. dude prolly couldnt even believe the ball bounced right to him.

The fukkery in that A-10 tournament makes me wish I was in Brooklyn to watch it live

pure comedy.

you'll be attending that tournament in the future. mark my words b.

the a-10 tournament is gonna be right up there with the new big east and "america 12" tournaments from here on out.

Im shocked no one has tripped over that big east sign under the basket. Dumb move by the conference to endanger players and refs like that

its a parting gift to sabotage all the teams that are leaving.:lolbron:

i thought temple was leaving for the big east tho.....well the "america 12" now.

theyre supposed to be going after siena & george mason, which would somewhat compensate.

St Louis is rumored to be going to the new big east a year after everyone else

yea, they were talking about it on cbs-sports yesterday.

norfolk st went 16-0 & nc central went 15-1. both got rocked in the quarterfinals.

i didnt know the 3rd & 4th seeds got they food ate also. theyre gonna mess around and have a team ranked lower than liberty in the tournament.

actually St. Louis is a catholic school.

and they will likely be in the Big East's "west" division with Creighton, Butler, Xavier, Marquette, DePaul.

I just wish they'd announce this officially...from what I hear it's all done...just needs to be announced.
