really just a backup big man that can block shots. If they take Pek out of the lineup they just shift Love to the 5 anyway. Not saying I like it, but that's usually what they do anyway. Saying we'd need a backup PF is like saying Drew Brees needs a backup QB
The team just needs a young shot blocker they can mold going forward. Stiemsma will do for now because they're a win now team, but it would be cool to know that Jack Sikma would have a younger Stiemsma-like player that he can work with as a shotblocker.

Dude was an incredible shot blocker in college. 1 of the best to ever do it. I think he gets pushed around in the post at the pro level due to lack of lower body strength. He should be a Taj Gibson type if he could hold his ground. But admit you was wrong about him, you said he was better than Cousins.
Or not, but I do think he can be a potential 6th Man of The Year on a playoff team
