While it's cool to give Puig all the "credit", their resurgence has more to do with Hanley Ramirez's return to MVP form IMO.

Molina's batting average as a catcher > McCutchen's average as a center fielder IMO

I have Molina as NL MVP. That awful stretch the Cardinals had while he was out helps his case as well.

I agree, although I'm obviously biased. Not to mention that defensively Yadi is invaluable as well. He's carrying us offensively AND defensively, that can't be overlooked.

Why do The Marlins stay drafting gems?

At least Verlander is a recent example of them being open to voting a pitcher MVP. Kershaw's having an even more dominant season than JV did in 2011. If none of these hitters catches fire, i could see it happening again.

They should deal Kemp in the offseason. I wouldn't want to disrupt the chemistry they have. His value is probably at an all-time low, but someone would take a flyer on him.
