They were floundering before Puig started playing regularly. Even when he was playing and Hanley was out, they were a .500 team. It was only until Hanley came back they took off and never looked back.

But that's not really how baseball works.

So you're telling me they would of gotten on that streak without Puig and/or Hanley?

Probably not. But they were clearly a better team than they showed in the first two months.

Hanley and Puig were both huge improvements, but they don't get extra credit because of the shytty players they replaced.

Kershaw is far and away their MVP.

What am I holding against Kershaw? He's the frontrunner for The Cy Young and a big pay day. :dahell:

I don't like pitchers winning MVP's when they don't play every day, but there's always an exception.
