Yeah, has to be something prior to today. Gomez and McCann were talking when he got to the plate, and Gomez had a little smirk in return to whatever was exchanged. Our TV guys said Maholm has hit Gomez twice in the past, but that's whatever.

Guess Maholm hit him on June 23rd in the knee, and he clearly didn't like it. I remember him getting hit in his leg (can't remember if it was this occasion), he stared down the pitcher, then he stole 2nd base right after. I know I commented on it (whether here or on Twitter).
